In the spirit of transformers collecting and to celebrate the variety of alt modes in HMW, I propose a very simple challenge - which faction can collect 100 alt modes the fastest.

Simple rules:
To collect an alt, one of your team has to SL it then post a link to the mission in this thread. Anyone can play, no need to sign up. You can only claim for yourself though and do me a favour, post the time of the kill too.
100 unique alt modes is the finish line. If an alt has been claimed already, too bad! You can't claim it again. This also applies to the alts that both factions have access to. If one faction has claimed an alt the other one can't also claim it.

Prize: the honour of your faction. Aka, naff all. (Unless a friendly neighborhood admin wants to offer something at this point...) Not unless someone can suggest something!

Well, it is an Alt hunt of sorts.
Why not give the winning faction a new Alt or at least temporary access to one they don't have. Could be voted on in the faction forum of the winning side.

Yes, that sounds like the very thing. I know which one I'd like to see the Cons have back - the original Soundwave alt. The one we have is a redesigned version but I do miss the original purple one the game used to have.

Can't look at the moment as I'm supposed to be working, but if an alt has been updated then I would assume it has over-written the old one.

So unless someone has a copy of the old one (which wouldn't surprise me if someone does) then I can't do it.
