Don't get excited yet, this is just a rumour (although I'm sure an MP Jazz is just a matter of time.)
Pardon the delay Big Grim, but YES, DX-9 did make Gerwalt, and Chigurgles (or Chigurgh..or space choo-choo). I think their War In Pocket line is pretty popular.Big Grim wrote:DX9 did Gerwalt? (Not blitz wing?). He got a VERY favourable review fro Peaugh (spelling?), to the point that I want it.
There's also Mastermind Creations. I have their Hexatron. REALLY want their Carnifex (what a perfect name).
Only other 3P I've done business with is BadCube. Bought their Wardog (Warpath). Very clever but holy cow! Massively over engineered and complex. I wanna have fun transforming these thing's not feel I need an engineering degree. Plus it took damn near a year to get them to finally send me a part which snapped in the shoulder. Straight outta the box, no real pressure. *Snap* arm falls off. Really bad feeling from £100+ figure

Sabrblade wrote:Wow, he's a shorty. It's pics like this that make me wish the MP-10 mold had been about an inch smaller height-wise, so as to let the Autobot Cars all come up to Prime's stomach grill instead of his waistline. The trailer can stay the same size to let the cars fit inside it, but if the cab robot were just a tad shorter, this and many other scenes could be recreated more believably:Cyberpath wrote:
And yes, I'm aware of the official size chart. I'm one of the guys always pointing it out whenever this point comes up. But while adhering to that chart might seem fine on paper, seeing it in real life, however, kinda sorta puts things into another perspective, with Optimus towering over the majority of his 1984 troops a little more than he ought to from a comfortable position.

There are also a lot of MP-Trailbreaker wannabes. (I'm surprised HasTak is allowing this. Not that I mind.)
I still think that it's just an incredible coincidence. I guess.

So this is the next thread that's gonna get locked. Great!

It's not that they allow it (they don't), it's just that there really isn't anything they can do to stop those 3rd parties from stealing the official IP, given how differently toy/IP laws work in China.Cyberpath wrote:There are also a lot of MP-Trailbreaker wannabes. As I do not wish to anger Burn any further with this 3rd party talk in a thread for official TF product, I'll just say that it's not that simple.Cyberpath wrote:Sabrblade wrote:It's not that they allow it (they don't), it's just that there really isn't anything they can do to stop those 3rd parties from stealing the official IP, given how differently toy/IP laws work in China.Cyberpath wrote:There are also a lot of MP-Trailbreaker wannabes. Well, if HasTak had felt strongly about it they could have gone after the American shops that sell them.

Yeah, the most ideal option would be an either-or option, allowing the door wings to either remain on the shoulders like on the G1 toy or for them to somehow disappear (fold away, detach, or whatever) like on the cartoon model.william-james88 wrote:Big Grim wrote:Oh, I totally hope that an official Jazz has door wings. This is Takara we're talking about. They'll find a way to hide those door wings for the sake of MP show-accuracy or die trying.Bumblebee21 wrote:jazz will most likely have door wings.
going off the multiple third party release thing before the official comes out, the same could be said about mp megatron. theres been 3 or 4 released so far
