Before you judge the figure too harshly, bear in mind that the figure in the photos is slightly mistransformed. There's an additional hinge in the hip assembly that's supposed to bring the legs further down below the crotch piece and provides better leg articulation. If you transform the figure without instructions, it's actually pretty easy to miss. Actually, looking at the instructions, you can STILL miss it if you're not paying attention (like me!

Compare the figure to the Sergeant Kup review that was posted by Peaugh, and compare the legs on both. He should look better, standing taller, and is better proportioned. (Peaugh also has an alternative transformation that makes for a good means of making the two look different from each other in robot mode!)
I picked up Kup in the Philippines, and he's quite a decent figure. I don't really notice any hollowness, as he tabs in pretty well in the chest and arms. Transformation is a bit finicky in some parts, and the truck hood being the worst part, but that can be fixed. I was considering repainting him to look more like movie Ironhide, but the green version is starting to grow on me.
My only real complaint? I have to put up with multilingual packaging that shrinks his bio to a single sentence.
