Hasbro color. TF Source is fine and you can preorder without being charged until it comes in stock. also it's free shipping for orders over $150 there.

how does everyone feel about this being the hasbro version? i was hoping for the takara dark blue version, but thats only cause i already have the light blue domestic fella.

Which blue is more show accurate? I preffer the Hasbro version simply for the eyes

hasbros blue is the show accurate one. takaras is accurate to the original toy.

im happy its Hasbro. its the definitive show accurate colors. I mean you can't please everyone. but more people probably prefer show accurate than g1 toy accurate. also the Hasbro one looks more lively and colors pop

They already reissued the Takare version once. Guess it's Hasbro-deco's turn.

Also, I'm not sure what this blue being show accurate is all about. The Hasbro blue is nice and vibrant, but show accurate? I recall Prime's coloring as somewhat more muted...

Sort of.

Takara wins when it comes to getting the blue right. But, IMO, I like Hasbro's blue better. That, and his optics are much more vibrant. That's just me, of course.

It depends on the episode. Some used Takara-blue, and others Hasbro-blue.

But the eyes are baby-blue.

Yea, the Takara eyes are a killer. That's why I swapped out the eyes with those from a YOTH Prime...

hey everyone. i came across this the other day and thought i should post it. its an ebay seller putting up preorders for an April 2015 reissue of MP10. i hope this seller knows something we dont, cause i want these reissue rumours finally confirmed or denied. ill be messaging him, ill let y'all know what i find out.

That Masterpiece Op is tempting but money's tight.

I don't collect a lot of Masterpieces. Just the big characters. Starscream, Soundwave, Grimlock, and the original Masterpiece Optimus Prime. I would've gotten Rodimus and Megatron too, but I heard the quality is poor on those.

Is it worth the upgrade to a second Masterpiece Optimus?

Yea i bought Rodimus when he came out,transformed him 5 times with in a week and his plastic ankle broke, that is when I stopped collecting masterpiece and went to legends,they just don't make them the way the 1st mp-o1 was created
