News for other collectors in San Antonio. Our lone Toys 'R' Us is moving to a new location, which means they're decreasing their incoming stock in preparation. It's unlikely we'll see TRU exclusives here until after they've moved, a time which the person I talked to was unable to tell me.

HftD Voyager Wave 2 is in Wal-Marts in San Antonio. 1604/Culebra had a couple Banzaitrons, 1604/Potranco had another couple Banzaitrons, and a single Optimus in the hands of a child gleefully skipping past me. Ah well.

Got a HFTD Green Legends Devastator from the Pasadena Toys R Us on 9/9/10. $29.99 and was only one they had out. I think an employee saw them come in and bought all but 1 in a case because there was no location for him on the shelf.

Toys R Us at the San Antonio Forum has all the new Power Core Combiners. I broke my Waspinator figure and Hasbro's sending me another one totally free! Plus free shipping, too  ! I can't wait :BOOM:. It's diving me !

McAllen (RGV Area)

Just got back home with the RTS Battle in Space (Rodimus VS Cyclonus). Found in Walmart (2800 W Nolana Ave, Mcallen, TX 78504). Had two of these, minus mine! :D

Dude we live in the same area I swear!

I was bummed when they moved that TRU. Every time I go in there the pegs are dry as a bone. I picked up a KUp even though I have one on order from BBTS. Most of the wal marts have that DOTM OP preview scout figgy.

HEB on Palm Valley ( 79 ) have two or three sets up. Several of the Breacher wave as well if you don't have this fantastic Scout

the only things I see in the Walmarts and Targets and the Toy R Us across from the North Star Mall, for appears to be a few Universe Classics, my boy picked up Tracks, I got Jazz, Hot Rod and Cyclonus pack, and a verrry feeewww of the War for Cybertron designs - only seem to see Cliffjumper, Soundwave, and Megatron. Really wishin' I had scooped up Optimus when I had the chance #-o #-o .
There's a center on the other side of the Northstar Mall where this little store dimestore called Tuesday Morning is and they a few knock off Japanese bots like Victory Leo and Star Saber I think, Superions and Bruticus, but I think they're smaller though. Get this the actually 2 of the Animated series characters, Lugg-nut and Optimus (seriously thinking about getting them....)
There is a place on Fredericksburg called Small World Hobby shop, but there nooo telling how much that guy may charge cause he actually look like he has some authentic G-1 figures there.

Animated GRIMLOCK in San Antonio on Fredericksburg Rd Tuesday Morning Store

I didn't pick him up yet but if there any fans of the recently departed animated series - there was ONE Grimlock in Tuesday Morning store on Fredericksburg Rd, the on in between a restaurant and Office Depot in back of the H.E.B. I didn't pick him up because the only figure I'm remotely interested in is Shadow Blade Megatron - the Animated figures just aren't my Kup( :P :P ) of tea.
When you go in you have to look down at the bottom shelf, he's behind, or in between, LugNut. Also there was a knock-off Protectorbots/Defensor further back on the middle with the other knock-off but its behind something, I forgot.

good luck

Third Planet in Houston has quite a few of the current wave of Transformers. They also had some loose G1s that they claim are complete. Worth taking a look.

Well after about 2 hours of cruising around the wal marts in san antonio I have to say that Im a tad dissapointed. they had the pallets out but were not letting anyone dig through the DOTM stuff.. However, along the way on 410 and 151 in san antonio I did see the generations wave 3-4, including wheel jack, warpath, thundercracker and scourge. I did manage to find 1 wal mart that had their DOTM groove on on 1604 and culebra, I scored crankcase and Voyager megs. target will be my next target tmorrow after work.

Report from Cypress/Houston, TX Walmarts....

VERY DISAPPOINTED. Went to FIVE Walmarts before throwing in the towel. Only TWO of the Walmarts even had DOTM toys out on the floor. I cracked the cases myself and was very disappointed to say the least. They only had cases of Bumblebee/Sentinel Prime Leaders, NO OTHERS. Voyagers were only Megatron, Ironhide, and TWO Optimus Primes each. NO SHOCKWAVE. Deluxe is a frakkin' nightmare with THREE Bumblebees to one of the others. Human Alliance is THREE Bumblebees and one Skids per case.

We're gonna be swimming in Bumblebees, probably a few Voyager Optimus Primes too, especially since nobody will want the single one and go for the Walmart exclusive one with Comettor.

By the way, only ONE Walmart had the Optimus/Comettor. I didn't want to come home empty handed, so I grabbed one out of the case and thanked the cute girl that helped me dig through the pallet.

*** EDIT *** I removed the picture because I returned the Optimus/Comettor set this morning.

I think Target at 8:00AM will yield better results. I hope.

Also, this version does not include Prime's MechTech weapon. Just a heads up.

As I expected, Target had Shockwave so I picked him up. I had to get him from a stock cart because the employees were running around like mad lemmings trying to move all the old toys out of the way for the Cars 2, Transformers, and Captain America toys. They really dropped the ball on this one. Target usually has all of that done by opening time on a reset. I went to two stores and they were both caught in the same mess.

Now I just have Leader Ironhide to go, and maybe the Ark playset if I like it in person.

Just returned from a trip to the TRU on 410 and san pedro( the only tru I know of here in SA)
and they had 3 shockwaves in stock. I grabbed 1 for myself and left the other 2. I moved them to the back of the voyager dispaly so if anyone in san antonio needs one they should hopefully still be there :)

Been seeing some later waves at 1604 and alamo ranch target..Skyhammer amongst them as well as topspin and barricade. Wal mart im giving a pass to because they do have their figs the cheapest but their selection is lacking early on..
