Gee, thanks. >:oP

Sorry i notice how rude that was.

What i really meant to say is that i see more users complaining about everything then i do on Tfw2005.

the veterans here are exceptions.

Its a preference ok i have friends on that site so i'm more used to that site then here.

Its not bad here though its just i see a lot of complaining.

I've been here. I have no need to go anywhere else. (Got your back, Mindmaster!) And if they weren't called that officially as you yourself say:

They were not called anything in the movie...

then they're NOT VEHICONS.

He might be referring to the video interview with Li Bingbing in this thread that was frontpaged not that long ago.

Then what are they?

Vehicons is what i'm calling them until official sources say otherwise.

Vehicon sounds cooler then drones or ksiformers anyways.

We don't know. Simple as that. If the information isn't available to us, then we just don't know, and don't pretend to know.

But wasn't the name "Trax" given for these things in a previous news post?

mirageandjazz1197 wrote:Vehicons is what i'm calling them until official sources say otherwise.

It's not a matter of what sounds better or cooler, but a matter of journalistic integrity. If people go around intentionally using terms they know full well aren't provided by official sources, other people unaware of the terms' unofficial nature could see the terms being used and mistaken them as something factual instead of a fan's preference of convenience and/or simplicity.

If I wanted to call the nameless Insecticon who appeared in ROTF by the name of "Buzzkill" because I liked the sound of that name, those not as familiar with the character or not knowing that I'd be using an unofficial name could think I was serious about that being his name and might take me seriously enough to think that that is his name, when there's nothing official to support it as it'd be just my own fanmade nickname for the guy.

I wouldn't want to impose any sort of confusion such as that upon anyone, and I'd hope others such as yourself would feel the same.

hehe. I left tfw2005 for the reasons that there is a large chunk of people over there who do nothing but whine, complain, throw insults and troll for the sake of trolling. Siebertron.com is far superior in terms of its user base and the quality of the people who are here.

I'm not saying all of TFW2005 is all bad, there are quite a few people over there whom I have the utmost respect for. But, jumping into a convo in a tfw2005 thread is like jumping into a convo on youtube. You're lucky to get 3 posts in before you've got someone throwing insults or trolling.

The only sad moment I've had with Siebertron.com was the meetup at botcon. I couldn't find anyone at the meeting place where everyone was meeting, but I'm much shorter in a wheelchair so it's hard to look over people who are sitting. 8-} ROFL! And even with that, I hope to be able to meet some people from here in person, whether it be before next botcon or next botcon. :D

I didn't even make it to this year's meet up place. I was on my way but ran into some folks outside the convention center and got talking with them for a while (one of them was Spongedude who posts on this site), and before we knew it it was time to go to the BotCon Retrospective panel. So I missed out on both the meet up and dinner (had a vending machine junk food dinner instead when I got back to my hotel).

Oh well. At least I got to say hi to Ryan at Universal and got to hang with Diem for a panel or two.

I see what you mean

its just it was the opposite back in 2012-2013 for me

the guys i know are still the same (my friends are decent guys)

its just the new tfw2005 members that are whiny.

I am sorry for saying that and i will erase that from my post just was in a cranky mood i hope this does not ruin my future days here.

And the Vehicon argument lets just drop it and believe what we want too its not worth the fight.

Okay, guys, we all have our opinions about different TF fan sites, but perhaps they're better left unsaid and kept to ourselves. I don't want people using this site to get into pissing matches about who's better and all that.

Every fan has something they can contribute to the fandom, so let's do positive things here, okay? Let's take the high road and be respectful to one another.

That's highly debatable, but otherwise you're right. No bashing other boards, even if they do.

You honestly think one post is going to stop people from being idiotic cavemen?
