TF Prime: Hasbro or Takara

I live in a country that will not likely get either version of these toys so will have to get them online but I don't know if I should get the Hasbro or the Takara with the microns. They aren't priced too different off of RobotKingdom. What would the average seibertronian suggest?

FYI, though it says UK in my profile, which is where I am from, I am in South Korea. They are still trying to clear out DotM toys. I can even get carded Beast Wars toys if I want and only half of the first wave of Generations ever appeared here so I'm not holding my breath on TF Prime showing up.

Personally I'm going with the Takara ones for the minicon accessories at this moment (My God I sound like Blurrz). However I may revert to the US ones at any time should the Japanese ones not also come with the same accessories as their US couterparts.

Basically I'm hoping that the Takara ones are US Fig + Better Paint Apps + Minicon

Time will tell...

I would just go for whatever's most accurate or looks the best to you. I personally don't like Takara's FE Bulkhead because he's TOO green, IMO the Hasbro one looks closer to how he does in the show. A lot of the metallic paint jobs they do just don't look right to me.

I await more info on the Japanese releases. Info, like pictures. Can't see me getting a lot of them (although, the minicons make me want to get every single one) but I might splurge out on getting Megatron at least.

I got most of the Takara First Edition figures; but the Arms Micron series doesn't impress me much so far. I've preordered Terrorcon Cliffjumper because I'm not sure this one will see a US release. As for the rest… meh. Skywarp's a maybe (but probably not).

If Takara gives Voyager Megatron a better paint job, that's one I'd snag.

I'm going with Hasbro on for Generatins and Prime, unless there is an unreleased version here of the toy that I want (like the First Edition Prime Entertainment pack).

If the cost is negligible, I'd go Takara. Hopefully better/more paint apps on the figures, as well as the Arms Micron accessories instead of the weapons Hasbro has. It just sounds like the better option.

Of the figures I've seen and got so far, Hasbro versions paint jobs are so good I wouldn't think it worth the extra cost for Takara unless they come with extra parts.

I have almost every FE figure from both Takara and Hasbro, and I must say when compared side by side, Takara's win hands down. That being said, if you didn't have them in hand to compare, the Hasbro versions should fill in your cast of characters quite well.

For the mainline figs, I've preordered pretty much everything that is a deluxe or larger from both companies on BBTS with a few exceptions. I may cancel some of those if I don't like the decos.

If Takara had all the same figures that Hasbro does for the upcoming line (right now the selection is very different for wave 1 between the two companies), I'd probably just go with Takara.

Takara for me. In the recent DOTM SW and Que scenario that Hasbro did to us.. I would have more confidence in Takara delivering the goods.

Also micron arms.

Normally I would say that the Takara versions aren't better enough to justify the extra cost of importing. But if you're in an area of the world where you're importing either way and the Takara and Hasbro versions cost about the same, I'd recommend the Takara versions.
