I stated how there is more evidence to the Liege Maximo in that video than there is Unicron. And the Liege Maximo is definitely not one to be trifled with.DJ1107 wrote:anybody who believe this villain to be a big threat.

Didn't you just say that you didn't want Unicron in this show?DJ1107 wrote:I'm just saying instead of bringing some faceless big Green Mothertrucker who barley ever made a dent in Transformers lore. Use the one guy who put us in a three years limbo. Either that or boot Prime TV executive always seem to kill something while it's awesome but for this show I'm making an exception

Dude, we've barely even scratched the surface of this new reality. There's millions and millions of years to explore between the era of WFC/Exodus/WFC2/Exiles and the era of Prime. As of now, this is only the beginning. We know next to nothing of what this new world holds in store for us. It's too huge a project to even grasp a full understanding of at the moment.DJ1107 wrote:Yeah well this new "mega continuity" sucks harder than Energon. It was going fine with War for Cybertron then BAM We kill The Rock, spit on everything awesome about WFC have incompetent heroes and villains cookie cutter human villains with a predictable scheme with a predictable outcome, and everything else that could have been used to make TFA S4 gone to waste.

Yeah, but the Liege Maximo is also one of the Original 13 TF and bears a stronger connection to the Decepticons than The Fallen, having been their direct ancestor.solidus_prime wrote:if you think about how the trailer was presented with the desepticon shield at the end. True. And what I myself said about the Liege Maximo does come from the Marvel Comics continuity rather than this modern one. But even so, between these two, the Liege Maximo was created as a character to be the direct beginning of the Decepticon race, while The Fallen was created as a character to be the "Judas" of the 13.Wing Saber II wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, but the Liege Maximo is also one of the Original 13 TF and bears a stronger connection to the Decepticons than The Fallen, having been their direct ancestor.solidus_prime wrote:if you think about how the trailer was presented with the desepticon shield at the end. All depends on the continuity. In ROTF, The Fallen was the first Decepticon.

Be warned, there are spoilers to be found here. Thanks to IGN's interview with Robert Orci and other members of the Prime staff we know now that in the future Transformers: Prime will include:
CombinersCombiners? After some hemming and hawing from the panel, one of the producers said decisively, "We'll have Combiners, don't you worry."
DinobotsDinobots? "Those characters are part of our long-term plan,"
And thanks to a video from SDCC we get to see the next big villain of Transformers: Prime, what appears to be Unicron!
