There was a mockup of these guys side-by-side with Herc-bots using fist-hole size as the common factor (assuming they are indeed the same). They're pretty much the same size as a herc-bot. THis means that if Superion is to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Herculese, then Silverbolt will need to be small-leader size.
Sounds expensive.

Yup, I'll be taking a hit with this one as well. These are looking really nice. I'd like to see a picture of the bottom of the planes. I wanna see how well TFC hides the robot kibble.

Judging by the photo of the formed leg, I think you can see the underside of the jet. Legs tucked up into the visible chest which the arms swing out from underneath, very similar to the G1 figs. Could be wrong but thats the way it appears to me. These look fantastic.
WANTED TO BUY
C-125:Shoki,
C126:Getsui,
C127:Yukikaze,
C129:Seizan.
MIB + unused stickers PM for details.

I have to admit. I kinda wonder why Superion. We saw Technobot and Terrorcon sketches before these guys IIRC. Is there a rhyme or reason to the Aerialbots after the Constructicons?
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

We also saw a seemingly nearly finished Dinobot Combiner that was so close to what I wanted it hurt.

I think the Technobots and Terrorcons were just to wet our whistles and to feel out the market to see how much interest there would be.
Doing the Aerialbots after Devy makes sense since they are the most iconic and popular combiners (in the cartoon at least) for their respective sides.

Hmm, that does make sense. Compared to the Technobots and Protectobots they're definitely the most exposed/developed. Did anyone outside of First Aid for the Protectobots get much in the way of characterization?
And the Technobots were season-three and didn't appear much after their debut and the episode with Marissa and the Han Solo-wannabe IIRC.

I gotta admit these look way cool, and the F-4 Phantom was my favorite plane as a kid, but like Hercules, these are way out of my price range. I will admire for afar.

TFC's aesthetic is quite blocky in general. Might be good for stability, overall, but it always feels a bit cheap, to me. Still, looking forward to more images!

I have to say, regardless of what colour scheme TFC decides to homage (or make-up) I hope they go with blue canopies as it would really differentiate them from the Classics Seeker mold.
