Hey all of those color shots look amazing!! Can't wait for Blackbird to come out next month. Soon Falcon and Harrier II will be available for pre order. (Hopefully)

I really like the colors they chose. Black would be too dark at least this white color really makes the other colors pop.

Okay, that does look pretty good as far as holding true to G1 colors....it's just....it's not a Blackbird...

I suppose F15s were really never colored black and purple or bright yellow, so the coloring shouldn't really be an issue. I'm almost ready to jump. I'll have to see how much the back-to-normal Social Security tax takes out of my next paycheck...

[Edited for spelling. Man, my meds are messing with me. I hope it's my meds...)

I'm not crazy about that Superion head. That visor-which appears to be flip down or removable-looks strange with the red eyes. I'm definitely going to wait for the reviews on this figure.

Im happy with the paint scheme. G1 all the way. It never should have been a SR-71 in the first place since the other 4 planes are keeping their G1 likeness and colors. The Concorde would have been awesome. But that heads gotta go !!! Just give him the damn faceplate. Crazydevy can you hear me ???

Looks pretty good, but something seems a little off with Blackbird's coloring. Not sure what it is

Agreed, going to take me a while to get used to it. Prefer all the digibashes over this :-(

The head doesn't seem quite right.

Harrier's head looks like it would be passable as Silverbolt's head actually.

I can live with it. Hopefully Slingshot's head is yellowish orange like the cartoon.

There was a pic earlier (long time ago, and thread is now a monster) that showed Air Raid with the wings in Seeker configuration in robot mode. I don't remember seeing anything but speculation from Seibertron members that TFC might put out seekers using the Air Raid mold.

Not sure if he posts here or not, but rumble619 made a post of his custom seekers using the Eagle F-15 mold: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/780018-voyager-seekers-finished.html

He's also working on coneheads. If TFC were to release their own seekers, I'd be very interested in purchasing. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to handle this figure yet but I hope it's stable.

Those are Fn sweet , not keen on the gold cock pit but it's enough to see what we could expect , in nice scale as well fingers crossed they pull this off.

Found the seeker config!

It was a prototype pic. I don't know if it was ever confirmed with the final product, but it was one of the reasons I was seriously considering picking up Eagle.

[Edit] Page 28 in case you wanted to peruse the response to it. There wasn't much.

quite a bit retooling to be done to the mold but they have a winner on there hands can't see many fans sticking with hasbros dwarfs .

a LOT or retooling; get rid of the joint mechanism, put a cockpit(false or otherwise) on the chest, new head, new weapons, then maybe we'll talk

Um.....I'm not sure I see what you mean. Are you bothered by the joint in the wings? Outside of that I just see a new head and a remolded chest, with a false cockpit as you mentioned. It would seem a fair compromise to making a larger set of seekers. Not perfect, for sure.

Otherwise, I believe iGear has some MP knockoffs that are smaller than the MPs. I think...

I meant the joint inside his torso that makes him a limb. Not to say a seeker combiner wouldn't be..... interesting(?), but to be quite frank I'd rather that functionality be removed altogether

I get you. I'm sure it could be done, ala the FansProject Bruticus re-released crossfire set. I think the unique characters had their connecting bits left out. Would it be worth the extra expense, however? I'd think some might be okay with just re-molds with leaving the extra connector bits if they are not visible. I'm not speaking for anybody here, just thinking out loud (typing) that anything hidden that costs extra in remold costs could be left alone. *shrug*

For what it's worth, FP left the connector port in when they redesigned Munitioner into Warcry. The hole had a removable plug on it, but that's it. Explorer/Flameblast never had a connector built in, but it retains the slots where the shoulder joint clips in. Additionally, Flameblast's sword is fitted for Colossus's hand. Neither figure had all the combiner kibble of their original mold counterparts, but it's entirely possible to make a Bruticus out of them if you have the Crossfire 02 sets. Bearing in mind that some people may want to build a Uranos with seekers for limbs for their own reasons, I doubt they'd go to the trouble to remove the shoulder connector in the event that they remake the F-15 into seekers.
