itscramtastic wrote:That's a pretty awesome score of MPM Optimus and TR Overlord!! EmGo did a pretty good video, and even shows how to eliminate the hood/window gap!!
I used his videos as the main source of help, and it did help keep the hood together for a bit... but as soon as I started working on finishing up the back of the truck, the work was undone. getting the hitch area to tab while keeping the hood together is the main letdownitscramtastic wrote:Nice shots D-Max!! Did the EmGo video update help you find the area that causes the tabbing issue? I know he did one review, and then he did a follow up. Looked relatively painless
itscramtastic wrote:I'm digging the few Masterpiece aesthetic. I may be heading that way!

Lots of topics to cover D-Max!!D-Maximus_Prime wrote:I personally think Cybertron is better than the original Primus. Those colors and paint work are killer! And Overload makes me happy I got a version of the mold, he's fun! And Breakaway was $6 or $7, so he works good too! The latter 2 really needed ankle tilts or A-stance based feet though, and Breakaway longer forearms. But Cybertron appears to be a great toyline!itscramtastic wrote:Well look at you, repaints are just as good as the original!!
In other news, Cram has finally let go, and I have finally given in: a certain Masterpiece will soon be headed my way, along with an interesting and unique Beast Wars figure from a convention: Depthcharge, from Terradive! That mold looks sick, so I am looking forward to getting my hands on it.
Which brings me to an interesting section of my collection that is slowly growing: Beast Wars. To date, I have the Thrilling 30 Rattrap and Rhinox, the original Prowl II, and Combiner Wars Magnaboss, with 2 custom limbs instead of his default configuration. Now next year that will grow by 2, with PotP Primal and MP Dinobot joining the ranks, so the shelf will look so weird with so many different lines making it up! I look forward to having the characters represented in a unique fashion like that, and I hope we get a Tigerhawk down the road somewhere! He was badass!
Moving on with today's Halloween catchup where Maxy is just typing away what he's thinking, My figures left for the year list is quite small now, being 2 legions, 3 deluxes, 2 crash combiners (if they even happen), and a titan. I'm excited to finish those off at some point!
And finally, the last interview for a position I interviewed for 10 days ago is today, so I should find out later this week if I got that job! I was turned down for the one I had the day I got MP Prime and Overlord, but I wasn't a fan of the company after the interview.
OK, maybe not finally, but a question: should I buy the TFCC Toxitron, SG Starscream, and Counterpunch set, and should I wait out the Cybertron's most wanted set/how soon should i jump on that?
And finally-finally: How are you guys today? Great day? any snow yet?

I think I only have 4 Unicron Trilogy figures. Hot Shot, Rodimus, and Galvatron from Energon and Excellion from Cybertron. Excellion and Galvatron are my favorites.
TFCC Depthcharge is a really fun figure. The transformation is great and he cleans up very well!! And MP Sideswipe is amazing. I'm going to have the regrets, but they'll pass. At least I still have my Alternators Sideswipe and Sunstreaker Speaking of Alternators, the Ford GT mold is one of the best. I have Mirage and Rodimus in that variety
Until you typed it, I completely forgot about Power of the Primes Optimus Primal, which will be a must buy. It's funny how my must buy list has significantly dwindled. Currently leader Rodimus Prime, Optimus Primal, and deluxe Darkwing/Dreadwind are all that I must absolutely have. And all 13 Primes in Pretender format
As for the TFCC stuff, I think it tells you right in the product description (where the price/sku info is) how many are left in stock so you don't have to add to cart or anything.
I also hope to someday have the Titan that was released this year, I'm really hoping I'll find him at Ollie's like I did with Fortress Maximus though!!
Great day here, no snow in the forecast for some time I'm sure.
Replied to this already in another thread but YES!. TLK's Cybertron is far more interesting than the previous versions. Although 2010 is quite pretty.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:I personally think Cybertron is better than the original Primus.
Sideswipe?D-Maximus_Prime wrote:In other news, Cram has finally let go, and I have finally given in: a certain Masterpiece will soon be headed my way
Good luck!D-Maximus_Prime wrote:And finally, the last interview for a position I interviewed for 10 days ago is today, so I should find out later this week if I got that job!
It depends.... are you in love with EVERY figure in the CMW set? If not I would assume your SG Starscream love would trump that!D-Maximus_Prime wrote:OK, maybe not finally, but a question: should I buy the TFCC Toxitron, SG Starscream, and Counterpunch set, and should I wait out the Cybertron's most wanted set/how soon should i jump on that?
Yup, lots. But its melty and I don't think it'll stick just yet!D-Maximus_Prime wrote:any snow yet?

Packrat is the only one I don't care for. the others: Hell yes! Though maybe I can get both...shajaki wrote:It depends.... are you in love with EVERY figure in the CMW set? I'll buy it for $90!!D-Maximus_Prime wrote:OK, important Question: I have a guy who is willing to sell me an MP Star Saber for $90 shipped. I kinda want to wait out a Power of the Primes Star Saber, but no guarantee, and I just bought another Masterpiece earlier this week.
Should I do it, or wait it out?
THE STUFF ON TFCC IS GONNA GET TO 80% OFF?! Man!! Those guys were over-charging for ERRYTHING!!D-Maximus_Prime wrote:I passed on it. Already got 1 MP this week, and I'm saving up to hit the club store stuff. Depending on how quickly stuff goes, I'm thinking I'll be buying at the 80% off point, that's pretty much retail price for the molds. And that stuff is more pressing than Star Saber

Wait... seriously? 10% every week? What are they at now?D-Maximus_Prime wrote:They're gonna go down to 90%!! They are dropping the price 10% every week until it hits 90% to get rid of the leftover stock. And considering there are lots of Cybertron's most wanted, Toxitrons, Terrorsaurs, and Fractyls, I am hopeful I will get Wreckage and the whole set!
