I honestly haven't touched that toy for at least seven years. Since I moved to this house and set up my displays.
I should dig him out and give him a good TFing.

That WWII Bee is really neat looking. I don'y think I'd pick him up, but I like his riveted war machine look.

What did they do for Sideswipe's feet wheels (Fweels? Wheets?) so that he could stand? The old toy drove me nuts, but that looks like he can hold some swell poses.

I didn't even know you had a Galvatron. He's a pretty weird but fun thing! My hope is to get a Magmatron eventually so I can have the 3 Beast Convoy guys alongside the 3 Emperors of destruction from the 3 parts of Beast Wars.

WWII Bee isn't for everyone, but he is fun. I wish we had more WWII era type Transformers really. It's such a wonderful thing.

Sideswipe's front fenders split in 2 and swivel around the wheel, meaning you can have him freely standing on his wheels to standing on pinched together the wrong way fenders. It makes him incredibly stable, and he can hold a lot of poses other toys of him couldn't! He's definitely an upgrade compared to his past deluxes, even though I love the OG and DotM ones too

I do have Galvatron, but he is one of those Sonoking Korean releases. Not that that makes him any different than the Takara release. Just cheaper to acquire. I love the segmented dragon neck. He's always been a little hard to take seriously with that overly cartoony face, but I don't take any of this TOO seriously.

I hear you. I think it would be really cool to have old timey WWII even WWI era alt moded TFs. It would be cool to see the Cons in overly Nazi style alt mode designs. Kind of like those Steampunkish train 3P figures. The big rivet look is SUPER cool.

I love Steampunk designs, the rivited old timey vibe is an aesthetic I really enjoy

So Dmax, the other day when I picked up SS Jetfire, I also saw SS DitM Megatron. It looks very good in person. So good, that I'd I every find it on sale, even I will be picking this up.

You, my young friend, are going to be very, very happy.

Considering who is saying this, this makes me all the more excited to find him eventually. Gonna need to wait a bit considering the misfortunes of the past weekend, but still excited to eventually find him!

On another note, got these guys in: A Tanuki, a tank, and a Tower of Death!!! (Heinrad was $30 shipped ebay auction)

Exactly, I assumed errybody knew tanooki mario turned into a statue. I misjudged my audience.

Oh and that's sly look he's giving the Koopa, cause he can't be found when he's a statue.

That makes sense. I knew Tanuki Mario from the GBA game and his ability to fly, didn't know he could turn into a statue.

You had to press down. Ah the good old days when your only help came from the manuals. Game manuals are a bit of a dead art. Some of my fondest memories were staring at the artwork on the pages and imagining what the actual game couldn't actually portray. Some games had some real gems, makes me wish I kept all my old games sometimes. Such is life.

I'd normally say couch co-op is the best, but the Switch versions have online multi-player patched into at least of of the games.

Yes, they are, and it's sad. I don't game much of a variety anymore, just CoD and GTAV. When GTAV did come out, I bought the Manuel for it, and I still look in it from time to time six years later.

Even though I never played it nor had the system to play it, I remember standing in walmart and reading the Fall of Cybertron manual relentlessly. I loved looking at it and the artwork, even if I wasn't playing

I think we're talking about two different things here guys. I'm talking about the instructions that used to come in the box. I think you're both talking about player guides with tips, tricks, guides, maps and such. Both can have some pretty cool art, but I'm talking about how 8bit games left a lot to the the imagination. The art included in the instructions help fill in the gaps.

Here's the crazy thing, they still make printed players guides for current games. It's kinda nuts. I just use online wikis when I need info now.

I did pick up the guide books for the NES & SNES classic systems for the nostalgia factor. Reminded me a lot of the ones Nintendo Power used to release. **** I'm old.
