Soooooo...we found out who the next companion is. And I got to say, I think it's a horrible decision, especially for a season, not for a special or a two parter.

So mackie pearl? Can't say she's been on my radar...at all. There's already a lot of negative comments about her cropping up but that's to be expected considering she's new.

Don't know anything about the actress, but the character comes off as annoying. I suppose they all do though on the first couple episodes until they settle into the whole wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
