The Hub sent out the following press release regarding their plans for an all-day July Fourth Huboom-A-Thon.

HUB TV NETWORK CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY

WITH SPECIAL ALL-DAY ‘JULY FOURTH HUBOOM-A-THON!’

Eleven Heroic Hours of Popular Series

“Transformers Rescue Bots,” “The Super Hero Squad Show”

And “Transformers Prime”

The Hub TV Network will celebrate Independence Day (Wednesday, July 4 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. ET), with a fun-filled freedom fest, the “July Fourth Huboom-A-Thon!”, featuring back-to-back marathons of episodes of “Transformers Rescue Bots,” “The Super Hero Squad Show” and “Transformers Prime.” Each episode of the half-hour animated series will celebrate themes of heroism, encouraging kids and their parents to observe the patriotic holiday together while watching fan-favorite shows on The Hub.

Additionally, the network’s website Hubworld.com is now hosting a new and engaging interactive activity, “The Transformers Prime Vector Sigma Bot Builder,” allowing fans to create their own Autobots and Decepticons by choosing from a variety of names, parts and accessories that are representative of the "Transformers Prime" style with the ability to print and share their user-generated creations.

Facebook followers will also be able to extend their viewing experience online through a distinctive new application, “The Transformers Prime Cybertronian Personality Matrix,” which gives visitors to the popular social media destination an opportunity to determine their Autobot/Decepticon classification based on responses to a series of 10 questions. The new app also launches June 18 and will allow Facebook users to post the final results to their own profile. The Facebook quiz sets up the Hubworld ‘Bot Builder’ game as it suggests which class and type of bot to build.

The special holiday lineup:

“Transformers Rescue Bots” (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET)

Animated series centers on a group of Autobots charged by Optimus Prime to protect and learn about humans on a technologically advanced island. Teamed with a human family of first responders, they keep peace and safety in their new home. The series is produced by Hasbro Studios.

“The Super Hero Squad Show” (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET)

Marvel’s greatest Super Heroes - Iron Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America unite to protect Super Hero City from some of the world’s most infamous villains in an action-packed, humorous animated series aimed at young fans and their families. The series was produced in 2009 by Marvel Animation in association with Film Roman.

“Transformers Prime” (4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. ET)

Archrivals Optimus Prime and Megatron once again face-off in their legendary battle for Earth as the Autobots and Decepticons uncover clues to change the balance of power in the war, and also potentially revive their home planet of Cybertron. The series is produced by Hasbro Studios.

Good way to waste a day if youre killing time.

I just tried the vector sigma thing on hubworld.

Terrible, terrible, game. I do hope the Jagex game has better character creation than that >.>

What, no Batman? You're gonna celebrate heroes, but not Batman?

I have to be drunk, no job, no car, missing both legs, and half of my face chewed off before I spend July 4th watching the Hub.
