Our friends over The Loyal Subjects just sent over official images of their officially licensed Transformers Vinyls Wave 2! We were lucky enough to see these little guys first hand at Toy Fair, and are happy to report they're even nicer than Wave 1 (which were awesome)! This wave features more parts, more accessories, and lots of great little touches like Shockwave's translucent parts and a three clip voice gimmick for Optimus Prime. This wave consists of:

• Dirge
• Mirage
• Optimus Prime - with Energon Axe and Voice Chip
• Prowl
• Ramjet
• Shockwave
• Shrapnel
• Sideswipe
• Slag

Enjoy the images below, they expect these to hit retail around mid-May.

But can you get their guns into the new figures hands without a Crowbar? I've got 2 Grimlock's and neither can hold their accessories.

Looks like this wave has a lot more 'kibble', I'm impressed Slag has a tail.

I have seen these and a few other pics on IG of the Constructicons; don't know if i will bite but it is a very ambitious grouping.

Is it just me, or have they gone back to the wave 1-style legs, without the ball joints?

Granted, this is still only a prototype; plenty of space for articulation more in line with wave 2 on the final figure.

They're crazy posable as far as poopy SD vinyls go. Think Legends Class TFs.

The Loyal Subjects have been hard at work providing you with Chibi versions of your G1 favorite characters, and they're showing no signs of stopping now. Thanks to their instagram posting, seen here, you can see their upcoming Trailbreaker release, which is part of their Wave 3 assortment.

Can never get into this lines because they always focus on typical characters.

Can't get enough of the super deformed, super cute officially licensed Transformers action vinyls from The Loyal Subjects? Well, there's good news for you today, as we've now got a fresh look at the upcoming Wave 3 from their Instagram page.



This wave looks to contain fun interpretations of Generation One characters Hound, Blitzwing, Wheeljack, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Rumble, Frenzy, Long Haul, Scrapper, Scavenger, Trailbreaker, Swoop, Sludge, and Sunstreaker. Whether or not this is the entire wave, or if any of these are limited chase figures, is currently unknown.

Information on the availability of this wave is also currently unknown, so whether this will also be exclusive to Hot Topic stores as Wave 2 was remains to be seen. While you wait for this wave, why not check out our Loyal Subjects Galleries?

I'm not touching these until I know if they've got rid of those cruddy ball joints from the wave 2 line. Why would you even want ball joints on these things

Wave 2 wasn't/isn't hot topic exclusive. The only hot topic exclusives are snarl, grimlock, and bluestreak. There's a seperate retail/comic shop release that lacks those few exclusives but is otherwise the same except for mirage being nowhere to be found on the hot topic boxes and a few rarities being altered.

Like DeadCal mentioned, the ball joints STINK! I had the arm snap off my Snarl figure right out of the box. Haven't gotten a chance to glue it yet but I have a feeling that because they are vinyl, it won't look too bad compared to gluing plastic.
