The most epic fight in history

What would be the most epic fight you have ever seen in a transformers cartoon. The G1 movie counts for this. The most epic I've seen is a tie between four. Prime vs Megs before Hot Rod interfered, Cybertron Optimus vs Megatron for the Omega Lock with Wing Saber in Sonic wing mode before Primus transforms, Optimus vs Megatron before the Autobot Decepticon alliance against Unicron, and OP and Megs vs the antibodies.

Cartoon only? That's kinda slim pickings...

Gonna have to go with Prime vs. Megatron in the 86 movie. It lasted more than 5 seconds, and when it was over, both of them looked like hell.

The final fight against Unicron in the 86 movie , with Optimus against Megatron in Heavy Metal War as close second (that's my favourite episode)

Yeah, how could I forget. One of the great ass whippings in cartoon history.

While I agree that was neat, cartoons only.

Soundwave vs. Blaster in the G1 cartoon, in that cheesy episode where decepticons were brainwashing people at a dance club. Soundwave beats Blaster up, and says "All talk. No Shock." Then, while down and out, Blaster thinks fast and puts some speakers on his fists to amp up his sonic power and takes Soundwave down.

The big rumble in the Ark in the very first episode is classic, too, but not much will compare to the 86 movie fight between Megs and Prime. (I still haven't finished it on DVR - looking forward to Hotrod v. Galvatron!).

Oh, Starscream vs. the autobots in the beginning of Animated - what an awesome Starscream he was!

This is gonna sound lame and against my 'Geewun' principles but Bumblebee absolutely eviscerated Skyquake in TF: Prime. I was like, "Bumblebee? Really? Good Job."

I'm a G1 guy, but the fight between Megs and Prime at the end of Armada after they think they have defeated Unicron. Both bots just really taking to each other and the animation was actually pretty decent as well. Lasted pretty much most of the episode.

Yeah, that was a really good episode. Remember the final ep from RiD? That was talking each other into OBLIVION.

I quite like the fight scene at the airport in 'Desertion Of The Dinobots'. Megatron tricks the Dinobots into thinking they have annihilated his forces, then when they are at their weakest in robot mode he blows them sky high!

Hot Rod vs Galvatron

Prime vs Megatron in Fire in the Sky

Cliffjumper vs the Vehicons

Wheeljack vs the Vehicons

I realise it's just cartonns, not comics but I've always loved the following:

Blurr vs Matrix possessed Thunderwing

Megatron vs Predaking

Galvatron vs the Cybertron 7 and the Dinobots

Jazz vs the Wreckers

Kup sneaking past the guards in LSOTW

Dreamwave Prime vs Devestator

All are good with the 86 movie Prime VS Megs almost my fave but I have to go with:

1. Optimus Primal VS Megatron (final episode of Beast Machines) they were the only two left on Cybertron and fought each other all over the planet (in the air, on the ground, in the water) And Megs throwing it in Optimus' face by showing up in his Optimal Optimus body was outstanding! EPIC

2. Dinobot VS the entire Predacon crew in "Code of Hero"- probably the most emotionally satisfying bout in the best episode of Beast Wars quote: "I am a warrior, let the battle be joined." That still sends chills down my spine.

3. Depth Charge VS Rampage under the sea in "Nemesis Part 1", the 1st half of the Beast Wars series finale. Very dark and dramatic. Plus I actually thought Depth Charge had stopped Megatron the first time I saw this (I was 13) and then to see his parts float to the surface with Optimus' words =chills. And if that wasn't enough you see the Nemesis rise anyways (which ends the episode). :APPLAUSE: Excellent

Some good choices here.

Love the Dinobot vs. ALL the Predacons in Code of Hero.

Skyfire vs. Starscream in Fire in the Sky. Not very long, but very symbolic and awesome.

There is one I am forgetting now too...damn this is gonna kill me.

I just saw code of hero. Dinobot vs the Preds all the way. Also the forest fight in rotf,Primes rage going all the way until he offs Sentinel, I know I'm the one that siad cartoons only but I must agree with g1 issue 25's Megs vs Preds. There's also Arcee's rage in Orion Pax part 1I think. The final battle of g1, and Optimus vs Rodimus in Return of Optimus Prime part two. When the touch starts playing it turns beyond epic.

I finally saw that episode today, that was great!

It may be the nostalgia talking, but the finale fights of both Beast Wars and Beast Machines stick out to me. :)

I think I'm going to have to go with Starscream's heroic death fighting Galvatron in the Armada episode Cramp.

Starsaber vs Deszaras at the end of Victory. Pretty visceral and epic. Good stuff.

I think everyone's listed mine, but they'd be Optimus VS Megatron at the end of both Armada, and Cybertron. Then, the fight between Prime and Megs in Prime at the end of "One Shall Fall".

Another favorite scene, which may or may not qualify as a fight, would be Starscream VS all the Autobots on the space bridge trying to obtain the Omega Lock.

I think it was "Super Ginrai gets blown away in the desert?!" Original, I know.

Awesome animation and fight. Then again, there's so many in Victory alone that could make this list in my opinion.

Dinobot's last stand in Code of Hero was an emotional rollercoaster of a fight. Depth Charge vs Rampage was another really epic fight. Not just the fight either, but the pure hate and intensity of the two. Depth Charge was one of my favorite characters just because he was so twisted by his hate.

"Raw Energon! Right through your twisted spark! Take it! Take it straight to the Pit, you sickening piece of slag!"

Then Rampage lets go. And laughs. God does he laugh. And you have to wonder if he's laughing at the fact that Depth Charge has finally done it, or that he's managed to turn a lawful bot into a remorseless and hate-filled entity bent on revenge. Either way, it is truly a haunting way to end a scene.

The last episode of Transformers Animated had some awesome fights too, though. Omega Supreme versus the clones, Prime versus Megatron, and Prowl's ultimate sacrifice. Then the very end, when Megatron finally addresses Optimus by name and the latter proves just how worthy he is of the Magnus Hammer he holds. I was sad to see it end when there had been plans for another season, but I can't deny that this episode was a blast of a finale.

And of course, the '86 movie. Prime vs Megs, Devastator attacking the city, Starscream's foot, and the end fight between Rodimus and Galvatron was just epic beyond belief. When he holds up the Matrix and hears Optimus' voice, just... Wow.
