This thread is to help keep discussion of the new cartoon to a single, unified thread. But mainly episode discussion because the toys should be talked about in the appropriate forum.
So. The Transformers: Animated movie airs tonight at 8:00PM on Cartoon Network. Wait for it, watch it, take it in and then discuss it here. Enjoy!

Lets see if the story compensates for they style!
I know I've been negative about this series, but I am hoping that the writers manage to save it

Lord this is good so far. I love Magnus' voice. It's Kyle Katarns voice from the Jedi Outcast games Jeff Bennet!
Man I love this. Original transforming noise, G1 footage (even if I wasn't a fan of the series). Sheesh.

Very interesting premise so far...they used the old morphing sounds and G1 footage! Ratchet has a broken version of his G1 crest on his head too...didn't see that before. OMG!! IS THAT THE Nemesis????
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

I am loving all the decepticons.
Especially their voices.
I gotta stop using the compy and get back to the show.
5 stars so far. out of 4.

Megatron's voice is giving me chills...and, congratulations to Starscream for being a scheming, back-stabbing scumwad. This RULES!

Prowl is kinda a prick, but he is awesome.
Bumblebee is awesome.
Prime uses ihis axe nonstop and Ratchet sounds like Murderface.
and this show's score is quite good.
The allspark looks like the child of the matrix and the allspark. awesome!

And now I update my thoughts. Starscream. Biggest schemimg prick in history. Puts his G1 self to shame. Megatron. Jesus is he huge. No wonder he's a voyager and Prime is a deluxe. Loving this soooo much. Great score, voices, everything.
Man. I'll leave the rest of my comments till it's over.

Blast! This is actually good!
BB is cute and sounds just like Fry from Futurama.
I'm getting a Vader vibe from Megs. No longer comic relief for me.
Still getting used to their chins of glory but it's not half bad! Ratchet actually has personality!

I think it's great, and I'm only 30 minutes into the special. This is the first good TF show since Beast Wars. This show is G1: the Second Coming.

OK....20 minutes in. There are a LOT of G1 parallels here....an Autobot ship crashing into the Earth. Megatron boarding the ship. Prime knocking them off course. The Ark. The Nemesis. Teletran One. The G1 footage, backstory, Sentinel Prime...just....wow...
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Sparkplug...that just rocks.
"Cool!" I have to agree with Sari to this point.
