Yeah, others are reporting similar cases. This is gonna be interesting seeing as how dar kand mature this show is in its tone and violence when compared to most other children's cartoons. Since Vortexx is censoring JLU and DBZ Kai, I expect Prime to follow in suit with the censors going nuts with it.njb902 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Vortexx is getting TF: Prime? I saw a promo for it while my niece was watching yugioh.

It's not like Optimus is going to stay offline. Why not have a temporary replacement?
Who sAYS Optimus is even dead? I sure wasn't convinced by that ending. Death is death in this show, and Optimus is too crucial a marketing device character to just kill off.ebilly99 wrote:I was wondering what if Megatron brought Optimus back to life with dark energon in season 3? Optimus has a way of not staying dead however.
Seriously, name a continuity in which he didn't die. I think RiD would be the only one, and he very nearly died at the end, saved only by some last minute, off-camera deus ex machina.
This show is different, though. Death is never sugar-coated nor reversible in this show, and both it and its creators have been adamant about that point. No character who has died in this show has ever undone their death.RAcast wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Who sAYS Optimus is even dead? I sure wasn't convinced by that ending. They managed to bring Orion back in the current IDWverse (and Megatron), I'd like him to disappear here.
In the final episode of Animated, Starscream died for good.Archanubis wrote:Va'al wrote:I'd like him to be dead, or non-operational in some way.

There are three characters in Transformers that you can rely on never staying dead: Anyone named Optimus, Megatron, and Starscream.

Only because that turned out to be the final season.
