Suspecting something's wrong due to how Dropforge is acting certainly makes sense, but then to quickly assume that something's wrong with his head or some such? Felt a bit fast. Ah well, it was still pretty good.
The medical tool she used at the end told her about the signal that was being directed from Cybertron into Dropforge's brain, so she didn't think of it herself. It told her about the mind control.

Oh I know that, it's that she was so quick to jump to the conclusion that she should use that device to see if anything's wrong with him. Just felt a bit quick is all.

No hints at all. But I bet it's totally not Cyclonus, there's no way it's Cyclonus, why would it be Cyclonus

What little there is of his toy bios state that he's using mind control on the council to get them to do his bidding.

so...it does look like I said previously....that Galavatronus'll pop his head in shot for about 10 seconds at the end of the final episode(ok...realistically it'll probably be a bit longer than that ;) )

No but some online places may get it much sooner(depending on which source/country it came from! which could or may air it sooner than the UK)

quick rant here!

the UK programme scheduling is a complete joke! I mean what kind of idiotic bafoon schedules the 2nd part a week later? anyone with any sense would've scheduled it the very next day! but hopefully I'll see it somewhere someplace before next Saturday ;)

The only reason any online sources get episodes from this show in the first place is because of people recording them from when they air on TV, or from when iTunes releases them the day after they air on TV in the U.S. The UK will be the first place to get the final episode on TV, so the Internet won't be getting the episode until it airs on UK television next Saturday.

It's not belief, man. It's the reality of this business. TV schedules are set in place, fans use their recording devices and PCs, and iTunes is consistent with its own releases.

Why do you think I always kept waiting until the day after each episode aired on the U.S. Cartoon Network before posting KimCartoon links for each one for the past several weeks? It's because I was waiting for iTunes to release the HD versions of each episode so that KimCartoon could get them and upload them, which they would do every Sunday that followed the Saturday of each episode U.S. TV airing.

The episode recording of "Enemy of My Enemy" came from fellow TF fan Walruslaw, who uploaded it online today after having first recorded it (in HD, no less) off of his TV when it aired today in the UK.

These episodes don't just come from some magical place that spontaneously leaks them onto the Internet all willy-nilly. There's been calculated methods to the madness of episode uploads for this show ever since its beginning, what with its first airing in Australia months before the U.S. People have been keeping track of all the countries and networks that each episode would first air on for the past 69 episodes, and have made efforts to record each one to be uploaded for all of the world to see.

With all that effort in place, the UK is projected to be the first country to get the series finale, a whole week before its U.S. airing even, so we're fortunate enough as is to be able to see the final episode in as much advance of the U.S. airing as we'll be getting. If not for that effort we'd end up waiting two weeks otherwise. So don't hold you're breath for any earlier release of the episode than the already week-early airing that we're already lucky to be getting from the UK.

Y'know, if the whole season focused on this regime rather than putting in the background behind all the combiner crap and Soundwave arc that ultimately went nowhere, the season would've been so much better off for it. The first part of this premiere is much more interesting than ANY of the episodes in between I've ATTEMPTED to watch. Who knows if I'll ever catch up on the episodes between "The Great Divide" and "Enemy of My Enemy". I know all I need to know and I'm still intrigued. That said, the story's a little flimsy from the fact that there wasn't enough build-up to this. Not that there wasn't any, but still not enough.

Aside from that, I spotted Arcee, Smokescreen, Wheeljack, and Ultra Magnus in that collage of Autobot mugshots, but I also hear the Rescue Bots are in there somewhere too. I'd be interested if someone would point them out.

There's a huge load of cameos in that little clip. I'm pretty sure I spotted Skids and some of the G1 Dinobots in there too.

Yeah, pretty much confirms that whoever's forcing their dick into this show is a massive geewunner. Saw practically all of the 1984 cast too. >:oP

Oh, you really should have watched "Five Fugitives" before having watched "Enemy of My Enemy", as it served as a sort of prologue for the finale and was a legit good episode on its own.

Well Watched episodes 24 & 25 of season 3 over the weekend, looks like some here did also.

PrymeStriker wrote:Y'know, if the whole season focused on this regime rather than putting in the background behind all the combiner crap and Soundwave arc that ultimately went nowhere, the season would've been so much better off for it. I've watched all of the episodes for this season, but have forgotten most of the details, that's how memorable they are. But I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. The Cybertron takeover should have been the focus of season 3.

PrymeStriker wrote:Yeah, pretty much confirms that whoever's forcing their dick into this show is a massive geewunner. Saw practically all of the 1984 cast too

This I do not agree with. Sure the pics may be of some members of the original series, but they could have been any character from any continuity. This show has no connection, or inspiration from the original, any more than Transformers Animated does (and they actually showed footage form the original series in the first episode).

What I'm not sure is...who to blame? (or should we blame anyone?). I read a Fan Q&A with Adam Beechen recently. A lot of fans criticized the questions accusing them of being to harsh, and the interviewer of being a jerk. Which may have been true, but Beechen's responses were less than professional IMHO. Sure nobody likes to have their work criticized. But if CN, Hasbro, or some other party impeded his *vision* of the show, he should say so (if he did, I missed it and apologize), If not, he should own that the fans in general don't care for this iteration of Transformers, and will ultimately be forgettable.

It's sad to say, but this should happen more often. Fans will give due praise to a series if its well done, as well as criticize a poorly handled one. I remember when Bob Skir cancelled his appearance at BotCon, I think it sent a clear message. I only wish all involved with Machinima's series would have been at a public fan event. The fact that Hasbro calls that series "critically acclaimed" is delusional, someone isn't getting the memos. But with RiD15 ending, its sad that a continuity that started off so amazing, ended so uninspiringly (Frankly I'm not sure what could be done in 20 minuets to save this show and cement it as memorable...but I guess we'll find out soon...) .

The sad thing is, my first impressions of Cyberverse are not positive. I really hope I'm wrong. Three possible years of that, even if they revisit several continuities, could be quite painful, kind of like the Unicron trilogy all over again.

Chris McFeely's been working on identifying as many of those Autobot cameos as possible, and has thus far pointed out all of the members of the Bee Team, all of Team Prime, all of the Rescue Bots, a large number of 1984-1986 Autobot Car namesakes, and a few other famous G1 namesakes.

The most refined findings have been posted on the episode's TFWiki page, in the Notes section.

I mean the fact that they're reverting to G1 designs and concepts for a lot of the distinguishable Prime characters. Starscream, Soundwave, and Smokescreen all had unique designs in Prime that were abandoned for basically updated versions of their G1 toys. Soundwave probably got the sh*ttiest deal of them all, really. I'm not outraged by it, I don't really care aside from the fact that it's a bit of a stretch from the last show, I'm just pointing it out.

Yeah, I can see most of those, although I only really caught Blades and Salvage as far as Rescue Bots are concerned. I don't doubt the others are in there, I just haven't found them.

Here's Chris's annotated gallery, though it contains more of his earliest guesses rather than the refined ones on the Wiki page.
