My thoughts on TNA Impact last night:

The swerve with AJ dressed as Raven was a nice surprise and asks several questions: Where was Raven and what will he do to Serotonin? or is it possible that AJ Styles actually the one running Serotonin?
The last one would be a nice twist actually.

The four way X-Division Match was a great Jerry Lynn pinning Sabin was predicable I wish Lynn and Senshi had more time in ring against each other.

The Eric Young segment was just terrible in so many ways that I can't begin to describe, but simply put it wasn't remotely funny and honestly the whole Eric Young/Traci Brooks/Roode angle just plain sucks.

Christian Cage-Tomko-Kurt Angle-Samoa Joe stuff was great.
Although the Daniels-Cage match was predicable.

Abyss' secret wasn't as shocking as I thought it would be. Although beating that Sting took was.

Overall a good show hopefully Against All Odds will be a better show than Final Resolution was.

Although predictable, I enjoyed Daniels vs Cage. I'm really hoping Daniels will move toward the main event in 2007. It seems like that's what they're doing. I like having Daniels/Joe/Styles away from the X-Division. Now if we can just get Alex Shelley as X-Division Champ. I would love that.

ring of honer creator died

Too much death lately

I gotta say, I don't like Devine in Seretonin. He's far too good of a worker to be in Ravens new flock of punching bags. Same with Kazarien, also a great worker. Both can take a bump well and have fantastic in ring ability. Oh well, it's a slow climb to the top I guess.

One wrestler I'm finding more and more awsome is Kevin Thorn. Great gimmic, fantastic moves, and I know I'll get some heat for this, but I think he has one of the hottest "managers" to date. Ariel, Shelly Martinez, who ever she is. Fangs or no fangs, she can suck me all she wants 8) I don't know why but her an Amy Lee just do something to me and they're not even my type.

WWE is just boring lately. Edge and Orton aren't entertaining to watch and Smackdown is goign down hill. I guess January effects everyone, from big corperations to small businesses. January is just a slow month :P

I love how this is the Pro Werstling Thread

Anyways, yeah Kevin Thorn is great, and Ariel is beautiful. They make me miss cable...well a lot of things make me miss cable

What's wrong with being in the "new Flock"?

The Flock has always helped young superstars further their careers. Like Kidman in WCW, went on to be one of the best Cruiserweights in the business and one of their main stars. CM Punk came from The Gathering, which is the same thing as the Flock.

Maybe not all of the Flock/Gathering members are big stars, but its still a cool stable

Smackdown went down the hill and into the ocean over a year ago. There's some good talent there but they're overshadowed by stupid story lines.

Anyway, what's everybody's thought on whose going to win it? I'd say definately not a ECW guy, nor SmackDown. I think someone like Orton has a shot to win it? :-?

BTW Venomous Prime, that is a GREAT sig!

Thank you, I thought about leaving out the WWE's WCW logo, but then decided to keep it. Just looked bare without it.

I'd really like Kevin Thorn or CM Punk to win the Rumble, but like you said, there is no way an ECW guy is going to win.

Shawn Michaels, entering around the #12 position, to win the Rumble.

Edge will eliminate Orton or vice-versa, they'll then lose the titles on Raw

Cena to retain against Umaga.

Batista to retain and hold the title until Wrestlemania where he'll defend against Undertaker.

Test to defeat Lashley to gain the ECW title. Let's face it, Lashley does a better job chasing, though does anyone actually care about the ECW title? No? Thought not.

Here's what I see playing out at RR.

Kali takes the Rumble and faces Cena at Wrestlmania for the title.

God help us all that could be the worst WM main event since Goldberg Vs Lessner.

I'm sorta hoping to see Kennedy vs Taker vs Batista at Mania, but I doubt it.

As for ECW.....Thorn really needs a better push, as near as I can tell him and CM Punk are the only two generating any buzz.

I leave RVD out of that because even if he blows the roof off of every arena they are never gonna put him over again after the drug incident, at least not this year. Vince usually puts you in the dog house for a year, RVD's year isn't close to up.

Oh and I have to ask how aweful were the Nitro Dancer wannabe's on ECW this week? Oh god never has three good looking women dancing looked so spasdic.

Notice the blank looks on their faces as their music was cut?

Priceless!

If that were to happen I might forego the day off and ordering Wrestlemania and just download specific matches. :?

But the "rumour" going around is with it being the 20th anniversary of WM3 they were going to have him face Hogan, in an attempt to recreate or pay tribute to the Hogan/Andre match from WM3.

Frankly if that's the case i'd rather watch Khali/Cena. :?

Hogan...Khali...Cena...

Its sad to say, but I'd rather watch Hogan and Khali. Cena is funny out of the ring, but that dude does not have it in the ring. Not saying Hogan and Khali do, but Hogan is the lesser of the two evils

gentalmen...and ladies, (i don't know of any that post for this paticular topic) forget about raw, and smackdown, and ecw, and even tna impact. for i saw a wrestling program last night (or this morning, depending on where 12:00 am lies) that changed my life. its called wrestling sociaty x. i was amazed at these atleats. and there was no story. no one used a mic. the only talking was from the anouncers and the trash talk from the wrestlers. there where people going through tables left and right, and some one got electrocuted (maybe not for real but it sure looked cool). i never thought i'd willingly watch mtv since they cancled beavis and butthead and celebrity deathmatch. but that was the best wrestling i saw in a long time. check it out this tuesday at 10:30

Well ... the Rumble is done with. (Be warned, spoilers be below!)

Hardys/MNM - Good match as always from these guys. The "It's over"/"No it's not" exchange at the end has me hoping they have a HUGE match at Wrestlemania.

Test/Lashley - huh? What? oh ... yeah, didn't pay much attention really. Pathetic finish that's for sure.

Batista/Kennedy - Is it me or is Batista getting worse each week? What a waste for Kennedy.

Cena/Umaga - Wow, Cena pulls off another underdog win. Whoopdeedoo. And after McMahon told him he wouldn't. What are they going to do? Have a Cena/McMahon thing like Austin/McMahon? Geez I hope not. Credit to Cena though for taking so many blows. Shame he's still boring to watch and Umaga didn't help.

The Rumble - Fairly good match. Had HBK pegged to win but wasn't suprised to see it come down to him and Undertaker and Taker eventually winning. Great to see Miz fly into the ring and promptly fly straight out.

Overall I think I probably should have gone to work and just downloaded it or just read the results. Definitely not one of the best ppv's as of late but they did set up enough feuds for down the track.
