So what's your thoughts on Last Knight Optimus Prime?!

It isn't great. Feels extremely cheap.

You know, as much as I've grown to loath the live action movies for the utter lack of decent plot, story, or any attempt at character development of the actual transformers in a freaking transformers movie.......

Bah! Anyway, I've always kinda loved the robot designs. I thought it was a fresh and unique take on old classics. Sadly, with very few exceptions, the toys have left me wanting. It seems the movie figures are always designed with speed and cost cutting as the main priorities.

There are some gems, and I love those, but most figures are, in my humble opinion, crap. Its one of the reasons I'm so looking forward to the Movie Masterpiece line.

That said, I do like the sword and his ability to sheathe it on his back. Plus, he can hold it in a couple of decent 2 hand grips.

Well drat. Two completely different opinions from people I respect. I think I have one DotM deluxe Optimus, and then that DotM "Ultimate" Optimus, but the other versions of Movie Optimus I have (had) are leader class.

This at least eliminates most of the backpack, right?

I just got Wei Jiang OS Armoured Knight Prime and OS CW Rook and the quality is alarmingly good. That Giant EMOP looks off the charts good.

2 things have spurred me into action:
-Cobs WJ Black Knight Op,
-And nothing more than than showing the truck mode of the Black WJ EMOP in Thew's last video.

As soon as I can afford it, I'm buying both the regular and black WJ EMOP. My wants are super hard right now :lol:

Well, I couldn't find a black version at a price I was willing to pay, from a seller I was willing to my it to. But I did find a regular version, it'll be here in a couple of weeks.

Took a minute, but I finally had time to sit at the keyboard tonight. Anyhoo.....

Sunsurge is an extremely good figure, but it has a few drawbacks. The transformation is a bit fidly, with some really tight tolerances getting the legs into car mode. It takes a minute longer than it really needs to. The proportions on the legs, the feet in particular, seem just a bit off. Not enough to ruin the figure, but enough to take notice of.

All that said, Surgio looks amazing in both modes. He holds together really nice, and has great articulation. His look fits in perfectly with all the other MP bots, so you'll never notice that he isn't Takara official when on display with the rest.

Thank you for the info Densh. Just curious about him since the new one doesn't quite do it for me
