Yes to the starship enterprise tf as that would be easy to do (even easier if you make a figure of kirk that turns into the head) Trypticon is harder though as they majorly cheat there as there is no where to pull the mass needed for Trypticon's Dino mode from the klingon crusier. That transformation is just as bad as AoE Galvaltron

A Raiden to scale with UW/TR Devastator (Basically 6 voyager Trainbots). Also It would be a nice little feature if they could each connect in Bullet Train mode, and if their wheels could *somehow* fit on to HO (or O gauge or whatever scale would work) track (despite not being able to self propel), that would be awesome I know there was some news about a Masterpiece Raiden Project or something, but I haven't read anything about it recently.

Conversely official scaled down versions of UW Devastator and PotP Predaking that would scale with all other Generations Combiners (remember this is the list of things I know they will never do right)?

To be fair we've only just heard about Super Megatron again so maybe Raiden news in the Autumn?

Perhaps some engineering wizardry involving inverting Trypticon's torso and tail could work? Aside from that, I'd love to see Starfish Metroplex fully realised as a figure.

That United Warrior box set was just an hommage though.
And based on the latest Cybertron Optimus "update", yes, that was indeed a downgrade.

But there is one thing in common with both of these releases. They were only repaints/remolds of some other toys. Thus they could only be "hommages" while never coming close to the originals. If they had their own designs and molds, they could have been awesome.

Well, Galaxy Upgrade Optimus was at least part of the original design plan for that mold.

Also, those aren't the only figures that have me worried about Unicron Trilogy remakes being pale imitations. Look at Universe Hot Shot: Better articulation, admittedly, but accuracy issues and no axlezooka. Look at Generations Armada Starscream. Some improvements in articulation, but...

But too tiny, no Mini-Con (and he'd be overly small next to one) the cannons aren't right, and the swords are off (two small swords that stow under the wings instead of a single large sword made from one wing). A fun enough figure, but...

I thought the original Armada Starscream was perfect, except for his back kibble not folding down. If it did, it would have been a 5-star figure. So if he got remade properly, that's the only thing that needs to be changed. But, like the title says... Never.

They probably didn't make the back fold down for two reasons: One is that the booster/cannon pieces form the traditional Seeker head-flanking elements (an effect which would be diminished if they were folded down parallel to the torso), the other is having one less point where wires go through a hinge.

Here's another unlikely one: A crossover Transformer of Samus' gunship in its Metroid Prime 3 form.

I was really talking about just the flat solid piece underneath the launchers when they're folded back, not the launchers themselves. I could have made those work a couple of different ways so that they're not sticking out the back. As for the wires, I would have preferred the folded back instead of sound effects, or whatever the wires were for. Unless they were for Swindle activating the launchers. Not sure how they could have gotten around that. Regardless, I would have preferred the back to fold down, gimmicks be damned.

Well, the back piece exists to be an anchor for the launchers. If they had folded down it would have too.
The wires were indeed for sound effects. Specifically, sound effects operated by the rear Mini-Con port.

What would you have done differently with the launchers?

That's the version of the mold I got. It's OK, but it is pretty weak.

I am down for Star Trek Fort Max and Tryp too, those would be awesome to do!

And now that we have them, I really want toys of the TF/Terminator Seekers

this right here. Oilmaster is so much fun! If they have given the shell a little bit more movement, he would honestly be perfect. I would be OK with using him as an example for pretenders.

Or, even if they went with the legion sized inner bot and deluxe sized outer shell for a majority of the cast, it could work! And it's not like the inner bots need a ton of attention and detail

It isn't ideal, but I feel like a third party add on kit or something from Shapeways could convert him well enough since we know this will never actually happen officially. As for Prowl, another add-on might do the trick. I think Cyber Battalion Prowl could do the trick. He's about the same height as the Constructicons and I think his car mode is about as long as Hook. Plus I think the quality feels, unfortunately, similar, at least to the UW version, Prowl might be a bit better than the CW versions since he has elbows.

A lot of us thought he'd be released (or the first parts would be released depending on how they sell him) by the end of the year so Autumn feels too late. If things start to feel normal in the wold we might see him at Wonder Festival 2020 Summer in July. Scratch that, there is no Summer show this year, they're doing an Autumn show on November first this year and still another one in February, weird. There's the Tokyo Toy Show in June, but that one is definitely up in the air, but not yet canceled. No idea when they'll reveal it then, maybe just online?

But about the other question about Masterpiece Raiden being the same size as Devastator. Don't forget that Devastator was conceptualized to be a Masterpiece figure himself before Hasbro ordered the parts count reduced to sell it as a main line figure. The size didn't change from those original plans as far as we know so it's very possible Raiden will be the same size if Takara Tomy considers that the optimal size for a MP combiner and doesn't go full on city Titan class in size.

Oh, and I just discovered this thing planned for Micro Change, the design was the inspiration for Unicron apparently. I love the samurai motif, it's a thing of beauty! Even cooler is it was designed by Takehito Ito, the creator of Outlaw Star! I want it!

It is sad though. Much like the alternate Metroplex, Trypticon and Fort Tiberius before, I'd love to see more of the grander scale Transformers see the light of day. The starships of the series, such as The Revenge, Ark, Quintesson Cruiser etc would be really cool if they were made into Bots themselves. Let alone a devoted City Bot for Iacon, Kaon et al

But alas, much like the chances of a New USS Flagg for GI Joe, "bigger" figures aren't going to become reality outside of crowdfunding these days. As the general market that would have lapped these up 30-40 years ago and made them financially viable, simply isn't there.

YES PLEASE! Being a fair bit of a railfan myself, I think that HO would work best for the Trainbots, and I would also love a Titan Volcanicus, with all his upgrade kit accessories. Give the Dinobots some love, man! Plus, Predaking needs a rival.

I sincerely hope they do that. And while I agree that Cyber Battalion Prowl could definitely work (having the Sideswipe version of the mold), I would appreciate added detail, articulation, and his axe from his duel with Optimus.

Well, I'll do a twist on my own thread and say what TRILOGY HASTAK will never make.

Doing like they did for the previous one and the current one for G1, making the next trilogy be about BEAST WARS. They could start it of by re-releasing Rhinox, Waspinator, and Rattrap as par of the first and/or second wave of the first part. Repaints with better paint jobs of the previous molds that were already released. Then, they could continue by remaking all the other beasts, redesigned and in scale to be as "mini masterpiece" as possible.
