The Toy Haul thread (non Transformers only)

Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

That thing looks cool as hell combined. And that name is glorious, I kinda want to change my user name now ;)

I'm guessing the cars are either cars or limbs with no robit mode.

The limbs have no robot modes, but the toys with individual robot modes do exist. They are bigger but don't combine. They are also around 100$ shipped EACH.

Check out that review to see how the Deltatron combier work. This is pure genius:

Got some stuff today. I didn't think i'd ever get this Lego set, considering what it usually goes for.
Until i came across one on Mandarake for just over my usual maximum.

Got my first Kamen Rider figures today and they a pretty nice for being the gimmick figures. Each one is well articulated the only real complaint I have is it's a little hard to get some of them to hold their weapons. Now I just have to wait for the armors I want for them to come out...

I bought something BIG today.

Thanks to a sale, I got myself the BIGGEST Power Rangers Megazord ever! The TrU exclusive 5 pack Movie Megazord that countain EVERYTHING. Just look at how big the box is next to poor TR Leader Blaster:

Image

Every single things are there. Including all 5 and in scale rangers. Even the ENGLISH SPEAKING GUN! So why the individual T-Rex alone is unavailable and unshippable to Quebec? It even have the multiple language box. It boggles the mind.

Image

Blaster is still diminutive compared to the zords.

Image

Huge megazord is HUGE! Blaster have enough of this shizzlesnit.

Image

It's even taller than both Fortmaxes!

Image

So, what do I think? Have TlDr in 3 parts, The bad, the neutral, and the good.

Bad:
-- Feel cheap and hollow all over.
-- Megazord head cannot store anywhere, not even on the pterodactyl where it's supposed to be.
-- The torso don't snap that well together, leaving a gap in the middle.
-- It don't have any solid heels and it depend on holding weapons for equilibrium.

Neutral:
-- Paint aplication may be disapointing, but is plenty suficient.
-- Overall quality is good enough for the price. Especially for the 130$CAN I paid, including taxes.
-- Partforming festival, but eh, what did you expect?

Good:
-- I LOVE that overall design. The magazord is GLORIOUS.
-- The individual alien looking zords are very nice and fun, despite being bricks.
-- The inclusion of all five rangers and a monster in scale is a nice toutch. Love the cockpits too.

Final word. Do I recommend him? If you are a fan of Power Rangers and love megazords, go for it. But only on sale because the original 150$CAN price PLUS taxes is WAY too high. But on sale, it's a solid purchase.

Now I wonder if Bandai Japan will make it's own movie megazord, or if they'll just put better paint on that one? :-?

The megazord head stores inside the Tyranosaurus belly, thats where it is supposed to go.

Glad you like yours! I find it just too big for me, I have no space left, especially if I want to buy any upcoming Transformer Titan, and I dont like how it is 100% partsforming.

That's good to know! Make me think about when I was told how to store the Dino Super charge T-Rex helmet when combined with the Pleizord.

Too bad for your lack of space. If you struggle to display your TR Fortmax, you can just forget about the Megazord. You need a house and a MANCAVE, dude! (But yeah, $$$$)

Under the "nose cone" section of the Pleiozord, there is a square hole with a "snap in" peg inside. It go in there.

Holy ****! My local dollarstore picked up a ton of interactive gaming figures, like skylanders, disney infinity and Lego Dimensions.

Image

I dont have any of those but for 4$ (CAD) you bet your ass I will get a few. Just in case, and even then the minifigure is worth that at least.
Also picked up some mcdonalds 80s commandrons at the thrift shop.

Yeah it would seem the toys to life market has just imploded. I've seen the infinity figures severely marked down at multiple locations. I even spotted a buy one get 3 free at TRU last week. The Nintendo Amiibos and the Infinity figures are very nicely detailed and painted. I buy them as just mini statues.

I picked this fancy Feline up the other day.

It's very rare that I buy plushies. Especially expensive ones. But 50$CAN shipped from Australia was the cheapest I could get to finally have an awesome and huggable representation of HatCHUne Miku. Yes, "chu", not "tsu".

Hatchune Miku is now officially Hatsune Miku's mascot. Hatchune was created by a fan and here's her origin video:

So many cool looking toys. Makes me wish I had more of a budget, but I gotta stick to what I know. Transformers and more recently, Marvel Legends.

Went thrifting today after striking out at Walmart and Target. Found a few Marvel dudes still in box at Goodwill. They're not exactly figures I would have picked up if not for the price but 3 for the price of 1 normal msrp is hard to pass up.

I'm not really even familiar with the characters, I thought one was Shazam(brainfart into DC land I guess) but the box says Sentry. Also got Machine Man and Batroc(Who? ).

I noticed the new Xmen wave made it to target, and the Guardians of the Galaxy wave is in stock at Walmart. Almost got Yondu because the colors looked so good. Target didn't have the ones I wanted other than Shatterstar who I passed on for the time being. I did get lucky and find Cyclops and Colossus at Walgreens though!

Enough yapping from me. Here's a pic!

I feel like every month I give more and more money to Bandai... After finding out that Gundam model kits actually look perfectly fine without paint guess what I went and bought!
It started with the starter kit...
Image
Then something a little bit bigger but still on the same complexity as the first 2...
Image
And then I said screw it and bought a Master Grade
Image
Time for a group shot!
Image
All of them a pretty fun builds but boy did that Master Grade take a while. Now I just need to decide what kit to get next...
Shhhhhhh... I was never here. You never got anything from me.

Walmart has the smaller Marvel Legends on sale for five bucks. I had to grab a couple even tho I dont really collect them. Picked up Living Laser and Yondu. Should have bought Gamora too, her armor looked amazing and she comes with a cool little sword and pistol.

Image

That Hyperion is what started this whole mess for me when I found him at Target as an open item for three bucks a few weeks ago.

Thanks! Keep an eye out far another one. Because the far off Winners had nothing while my usual Centre Laval one had the same 3 vandalised zord boxes. :(

I'd really love to have my green tyrano rollerbadin' around, everyone hatin'. ;)
If it come to that, I'd gladly take that blue bike off your hands.
