The Toy Haul thread (non Transformers only)

Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

:BOT: I finally got my Kurt Cobain Unplugged figure. It's amazing looking!

I wish they made the entire Nirvana line up. And hopefully expanding to a Dave Grohl figure in all his Foo Fighting power stance! :CON:

Revoltech Dante finally came!

I've loaded him with both his weapons and both his Devil Arms, he's standing alone on my desk, bowing his head in thought.

But what is he thinking of? His mother? Vergil? Lady or Trish? We may never know...

I got a Zizzle POTC2 Norrington figure. I love that he can hold out the pistol in his right hand and aim right down his arm. I'm thinking of facing him off against Greedo :)

I also ordered several things...

• Doctor Who (new series) sonic screwdriver pen
• LOTR Dark Galadriel
• Cybertron Starscream x4 (the mini one -- I want to make Thundercracker and the other Seekers they didn't make yet)
• Episode 3 Yoda with Can-Cell (it was on clearance and I never got it, hey, why not?)
• TSC R5-J2 -- WJ35, if you can still find one for me, I'm still intrested. Can never have too many Astromechs!

I thought I already posted this... anyways a few days ago I picked up some of the Zizzle POTC preview figures. They come with a plastic gold colored coin, which has a 3-D image of the character on it when you hold it up to the light. They're pretty damn cool. I got half-skeleton Jack, Will Turner, and Elizabeth from the third movie (in a green robe). I also got seconds of the 442nd and 5th Fleet clones, and TF:C Ramjet. I'll get Cliffjumper later...

I went to TRU yesterday, I got a Marvel Attacktix booster, Hasbro ML Emma Frost, and I noticed that they still has ToyBiz ML, so I got ML 14 Luke Cage, great figure except the left is kinda weird. I think it would be better if fingers were or indiviual joints rather than on one hinge.

Ha, you refer to the bizzare tumor that Cage has on his "Judo-CHOP!" hand.

Yea...and people complain about Hasbro. :)

Do you have Iron Fist to go with him?

Haha... have fun with him! I love that toy. I think mine needs new batteries though :)

I've ordered tons of Doctor Who figures the past few days from WhoNA. I placed two orders because they got them in and sold out a few times, so I ordered them as I had the chance. I don't have any of them just yet (WhoNA has phenomenal shipping time), but managed to get:

"Mutant Reveal" Daleks (x3)
Doomsday box set (10th Doc, Sek, Cyberman)
Clockwork Man (x2 - black, blue)
Slitheen with Space Pig
Captain Jack with Empty Child
Autons two packs (x2)

I passed on the Season 1 Rose with the robot spiders for now. I hope the rusty K-9 she originally came with comes with Mickey as the rumor has been going, so that I won't have to track down the Rose & rusty K-9 set.

I still want the Regeneration set, some of the mini RC Daleks, and the mini RC K-9 that comes with the coat-less 10th Doctor. Still waiting to see if BBTS will ship out the TARDIS playset to me. Since I had preordered it a week or so ago, it's gone on a pre-sold out status again. :?

Today, I bought the Stikfas Band 4-Pack, including Alpha Male, Beta Female, and 2 G2 Alpha Males, plus a crapload of gear! 3 Guitars, a keyboard, a full drum kit, a sax, a tamborine, 4 mics, headphones, hairdos, and lots of decals. A great buy! My fingers still hurt from trying to put them all together in one sitting. My thumbs are gonna get callouses, that's for sure...

Besides the Star Wars mini-haul that I posted about, I also got:

Shadow Recon Mini-con team (on clearance at Target)
X-Men Classics: Juggernaut, Bird of Prey Angel, and Air Strike Wolverine
Marvel Legends Showdown: Silver Surfer and Beast (a duplicate to customize someday)

I got all of the Marvel figures at KB Toys, where they had them all on clearance. Plus a sale, spend between $20 and $29.99, you get 10% off, which was part of the reason I picked up the Wolvie and Beast.

ML Showdown Silver Surfer is great! I liked someone's idea I had read about, posing him with the ML BAF Galactus. The Angel figure has to be the worst quality Toy Biz figure I've ever bought. If this is the quality that people bashed Toy Biz for, then I can understand. But I've rarely gotten a bad Toy Biz figure. His paint is already scraping and shipping off, his one ball & socket shoulder joint is loose, and the head wasn't cast quite right as both Angels I saw had molding lines in the face. (That's caused by the plastic not being hot enough as it travels through the mold, leaving ugly lines, the name which escapes me. I used to work in an injection molding plant, FYI.) Other than that, he's a pretty cool figure. I like the bazooka, hehe. Juggernaut is great too. One damn ugly mofo, though.

I still need to take some pics of all my Doctor Who toys. I've got both the TARDIS money bank and the playset on the way...
