Still, damn, she's quite the waifu. I should finish the first Nier and tackle de second one already.
You really should. Though FWIW I haven't played the first NieR yet (I'll do so once I've finished Automata), AFAIK the only links between the two games are little easter eggs/unlockable info that ties the two games together.

So it's not really a direct sequel then? Good. I could go straight to Automata and come back to the first one when I feel like it then.

I haven't played the first Nier game yet either, but I read up on it after I finished Automata. The first game is basically amounts to lore and world building history to the second game. The first game is how things get to the point they're in in the second. Plus the first game is heavy on magic while the second is technology. There are cameos, the most obvious being Emil.
I really want that 2B figure and came very close to ordering one, but she was released at a time when I had too many things coming out so I missed the best prices. I hope they make a 9S figure, but they jumped back to a character from the first game for the next figure.
As for myself I picked up two very shocking things at Goodwill yesterday. The first, not a toy, but the complete Toradora DVD/BD Premium Edition box set from NIS America for a mere $2. I actually already have this same set, but I paid $104 for it back in 2014 at release. Couldn't resist at that price, I'll probably give it to a friend.
Second is a plush Mechazawa from Chromartie High School also for $2. They had a four or five of these still in their plastic bag so it must have been old found stock. He's a big plush, "standing" at 10" tall (even though he's made to sit). I should really finish the anime someday...
I'd rather find Transformers, but it's rare that I find anything at Goodwill at all so I'll take it.
Damn, finding a complete set of anime at Goodwill for 2 bucks is one AMAZING find! Plus, it's a GOOD one. I really enjoyed that series and "pocket tiger" is a tsundere done right. I torrented the series though.

So did I the first time around. But yeah, I consider it anime romcom perfection from start to controversial ending.
Emerje
Not to spoil anything for others, that ending was the best one. Realistic in a good way.
Anyway, I do have some anime goods on the way. But I think they were stuffed into a bottle and the bottle thrown into the ocean. My stuff is slooooooooooooooly floating toward me...................................

Completely agree about the ending, many things about it felt right. I could easily have seen a similar thing happening when I was in high school, yet many people found it too unrealistic for some reason.
And yeah, I've got some stuff coming from AmiAmi (two price figures and a figma), but SAL shipping has been painfully slow lately. I used to be able to count on things showing up just past the two week mark, but lately it's been closer to four.
Got my first Figuarts figure ever: Iron Man Mark 50. I loved Infinity War and had to have a "high end" Iron Man figure. This figure is awesome. I can see why people collect Figuarts, but I'm not going there. Barely have enough room for TFs as it is.
Got some Banpresto prize figure goodness in from AmiAmi today in the form of their new Grandista line: "Grandline Men" Monkey D. Luffy and "Shinobi Relations" Uzumaki Naruto. I own a lot of prize figures and these are without a doubt the best I own. They look incredible and both stand about 11" tall!
These photos don't do them justice. And that's not all! They also come with alternate expressions and Naruto comes with a regular right hand!
I'm not crazy about this Naruto expression, he looks like he's having a stroke. Would have preferred a big grin like Luffy's. Best part is they're CHEAP! Only 1,300JPY each on AmiAmi, though because of their size the shipping is a big higher. I think I paid under $35 total for the pair. I'm super excited about adding more from the line. I probably won't go crazy on variants, but I do have Trafalgar Law pre-ordered and probably should get a Goku at some point.
There is one Naruto variant I want, but it's 6,500JPY so I'll pass, but the paint is truly a work of art.
Got the Max Factory Kagamine Rin Meltdown figure. She's very, VERY nice. She come with a base that require quite a bit of assembly. Once built, the overall package is very cool and bad-ass.
My only gripe is that it's say it's at 1/8 scale on the box. However, this rin is completely dwarfed by other 1/8 figures that I own, making her feel more like the tiniest womanlet ever, or a 1/9 figure in reality.
Still, I'm very glad to have her. The overall base make her stand out. BTW, she got very ordinary, not sexy at all white pantsu if you're wondering.

Friday I got figma 370 Fate/EXTELLA Nero Claudius in from AmiAmi. I never got the original (would still like to) so this fills that tiny gap in my Fate figma collection. I think I'm just missing that, the original Saber Lily with the game, the original Rin Tousaka, and Gilgamesh to complete the line from the 25 figures that have been released so far (and six more coming). The prices on the first two seem to be plummeting after the remakes so I might get them yet.
Not a toy, but I managed to find the complete first season DVD boxset of Gunslinger Girl for £15. I've never actually watched it before but it's meant to be absolutely superb (not to mention utterly grim) so for the price it was a no-brainer.
Also the OP (The Light Before We Land by the Delgados) is beautiful.
There are several "casual" Lego sets on mad clearance right now. Time to make room for the new collections I guess. So it's time to store up on bricks if you are the kind to make big MOCS.

Same as yours. At Walmart and La Baie, some Lego Batman sets and some Lego city sets are on clearance. Plus at TrU, some Mega Constux Destiny sets are on heavy clearance as well.
However, my Lego passion is pretty much dead. Preffering just building the occasional minifig-less Idea sets or some Architecture sets. And those are very rarely on clearance.

I feel like we need an "everything else" haul thread here for things like DVDs, comics, and games.

This here thread have a trafic so slow, a snail riding a sloth's back have time posting. OP would just have to add a "and everything else" on the title of the thread and call it a day.
BTW, this is what I'm still getting on my end:

Got some nice anime figures here along my transformers. Nendoroid Kemono Friends Kaban will be unboxed along her pal Serval tomorrow. See you in the Nendo General then!
It's a small miracle I was able to order her at all at Hobby Search. And now there she is, Kanna from Dragon Maid!
Clearly the best and most adorable character of the show:
I fell in love with Vocaloids some years ago. But I never owned quality figures. So I finally saw some that please me. The Max Factory Tony Version. The figures are big, incredibly well detailed, and SEXY. I ordered Miku. A few days later, Rin. And some days later, Luca. Well, even though Luca waas "free shipping" from ebay, she came from Japan over here...... in a week!
Skirt is removable for reasons. You just have to RIP HER IN HALF!
I improvised a stage for Miku when I<ll get her. In the meantime, Luca will use it. The box hide the cords and allow a 3rd figure to be displayed in such a tiny space. Miku will be the one on it because she<s the MC and her hair make the figure quite large.
Let's have Megurine Luca friend-zone you:
Got any anime figures? Please share!

Nice haul! Dragon Maid was a great series. I don't really buy a lot of PVCs unless they're really cheap, but if they made figma I'd want them all. I've got a few anime related figures coming, but they won't be here for a few weeks.
I still need to watch Dragon Maid at some point. Though personally my favourite dragon related anime is Dragon Half (if you couldn't tell from the avatar). Kotono Mitsuishi as a nutty dragon waifu = Also it has the best ending sequence of literally anything ever. Hands down.
