My newest addition to my action figure collection is NECA's Perseus figure, which was waiting for me when I got home from work today. Talk about a pleasant surprise! Great sculpt, good paint apps for the head and flesh areas, great paint apps for the clothing, armour, and weapon, and it has a good range of articulation.

Image

Next up are Tartarus and Sgt. Forge from McFarlane Toys' Halo figure line, series 7. Great sculpts, excellent paint apps, and very cool accessories. Sgt. Forge has one of the best sculpts for a human character I've seen. The body proportions are great and the head sculpt is superb, especially considering the figure is just 5" tall. Tartarus has a surprising range of articulation for the figure's bulky proportions. The sculpt is excellent and the paint apps are flawless on the figure and the gravity hammer accessory, the Fist of Rukt. Both the figure and the gravity hammer are very heavy and dense feeling. The hammer is actually like a small meat mallet!

Image

Here are the 3.75" figures of Iron Man(Extremis armour) and the Iron Man 2 movie War Machine, which only recently arrived at my local Wal-mart(oddly, the 6" exclusive figure was in stock weeks ago). Great figures, especially War Machine.

Image

Next up are a trio of unrelated 3.75" figures. Classic Captain America(aka First Appearance version) is on the left, S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Hibiki is in the middle, and GI Joe Rise of Cobra Snake Eyes(City Strike, aka Resolute Snake Eyes)

Out of the three figures, Captain America is ranked 3rd. It's a fine figure for sure with a good sculpt and good articulation but beside the other two, it somewhat pales in comparison. I like the classic costume design and prefer it over the more standard modern version with round shield.

Snake Eyes is a very neat figure, my first GI Joe figure since I was a kid, and the Resolute design is represented wonderfully in the sculpt.

S.I.C. Kiwami Tamishi Kamen Rider Hibiki...superb sculpt, amazing paint apps, ridiculously good articulation, and all for roughly $10. It's an exceptional action figure.

I found DCUC Wave 15 today! Everybody except Starman. :-x Apparently, the brick-and-mortar shipments might be Kmart exclusives. I can't seem to find any information about that. I hadn't heard anything about it but they have the stickers on them:

I saw some new Lego products. Ninjas versus skeletons on choppers. That has to be the greatest toyline ever.

Image

I thought this was a new special packaging for a tub of Lego. Turns out it was just a brick sorter; you pour pieces into the top and the pieces neatly sort through a filter. Kinda cool but super expensive at $30.

Image

Though I'm sure it'd be a useful prop for cosplay.

I got the Green Lantern movie Hal Jordan figure recently, but I haven't opened him yet. The Movie Masters version is probably better for the money even with the higher price tag, but I got the basic one anyway. Mattel kind of rips you for $9 dollars when Hasbro's Marvel figures are a dollar less and have more articulation. Still pretty cool with the giant green fist accessory and the almighty plastic ring. I'll probably get Sinestro and Max Charge Hal next.

I was on a mission to collect all of the alien Corps members when these figures first came out. I got Sinestro and Stehl and then just gave it up. They are so non-articulated and I don;t care for the accessories at all. It's a shame too, I was really looking forward to these toys.

I got it used but it is still in very great condition, it cost me $850 bucks, and thats cheap for what it is on average, most of the time that item is twice as much, like $1500, and some very brand new pristine mint ones have been $2000 dollars or more, lol i know i put the Dragon Dagger(Zyusouken) in it, just to show you I proudly own the Key original Green Ranger equipment.
