They are rereleasing the green dragonzord and possibly rereleasing titanus in show colours so I am certain they will rerelease the megazord. And when they do, I will get him. I am more bothered by the new voltron figures being English only, I really don't like that movie megazord.

So there is no regular Canadian release of the new Voltron toys? Or do you just have to wait a little longer? I personally don't think you're missing much, but not having the option totally sucks.

BTW I'm totally lost on the whole megazord conversation lol. I was never a fan of the show and didn't realize there were so many different characters. Thought it was just the 1.

It's a Quebec thing. Regulations get pretty iffy when there is no French on a packaging. So Toys r Us just get lazy and chose not to bother sending english boxes to Quebec. They are available to the rest of Canada though.

It was the same story with special edition transformers like MPs and such. After years of a bitching campaing, Hasbro finally decided to make their boxes in English, French, and Spanish.

Guess it's time to harrass Bandai and the rest.

An early morning stop at Walmart on my way home from work Monday scored me a Voltron Legendary Black Lion for $30! He was the only Lion they had in the Legendary scale, but hopefully they'll get the rest soon. I posted a quick review on the Voltron/Golion section, but suffice to say he's a great figure and I can't wait to find the rest of this scale!

My Target just got a flood of Voltron. They had the big boxed Black Lion, but only empty pegs for the limbs. They peg the non-combinable ones next to them so use caution.

Its as big as CW Devastator, heftier and with electronics. And for only 100$. Sounds like a win to me. Especially compared to the smaller Legacy Power Rangers Ninja Megazord which cost the sameand isnt imposing, hefty or filled with electronics (awesome paint though).

Got some Lego stuff.

The Penguin car and the tropical animals were bought online on the Lego shop. Free baggie Batwing! To complete my Lego Batman display, I bought a Batgirl Keychain on sale IN a Lego Store. I'll have to remove the chain. As for the blindbags, they are on clearance at TrU with the promo "buy one get the other at 50% off". So less than 9$CAN taxes included for 4! Hope I'll get something good.

I'll admit, I thought they were fake since they all shared the same waist piece and mostly the chest piece. But that seems to be hallmark of MOTU... Ugh, those muscles don't do it for me.

I can't seem to find anything on him, but the chest looks familar... maybe it's a KO?

:EDIT: It's indeed a KO. MOTU KO's come in a frighteningly large variety due to the semi-modular nature of the figure, especially in the head. I did manage to isolate it as part of the "Soma Ninja" line of MOTU KO's, but the exact figure basis is unknown. There's no info out there, aside from auction sites.

That is a wrestler figure. OR a better description might be a dollar store luchador.
You can use warm soapy water, just don't submerge them. Use a cloth or sponge.

The robot is HUGE and full of ratchetty goodness. Here it is, next to TR deluxe Highbrow for scale.



The 3 vehicles compact tightly but are still quite big. Here they are, next to TR deluxe Blurr. Also, that traler is just a "gloves holder". The giant bot have dinky arms without them.



Look glorious next to Biklonz Thunder Guardian Super Mode.

Both Tobot and Biklonz are Korean originals. From cartoons to toys. All are of rock solid quality. Remember when Transformers used to be made out of SOLID plastics and hard ratchets in the Cybertron line? Pepperridge Farm Korea remember.

You're more right than you think. After some searching this is indeed a ninja from a company called Soma. Looks like they did in fact do some some wrestling figures and probably the ninja line later, but originally they were part of a fantasy line called, appropriately, Fantasy World.

Anyone know how to clean these toys? The plastic isnt solid in the face area and I dont wan to damage them. But dunking them in soapy water sounds like a nightmare since that water could stay around in them forever.

Hydrogen peroxide, it's a great cleaner because it doesn't react to plastic, doesn't harm paint (unless you're rubbing really hard), and wont make metal rust and evaporate quickly. It's often used to clean bare electronics and chips. Highly concentrated it can even whiten yellowed plastic and wont damage stickers. DO NOT use rubbing alcohol, it will damage the plastic and make it gummy.
