Thanks yeah :D
Oddly that Superman figures face looks quite a lot like my friend's boyfriend who can also fly (well... he's a pilot at Gatwick airport) but yeah the eyebrows in particular look very much like him. :P

Picked up a TMNT movie Mega Bloks kit for about £9. Great deal considering it has 3 minifigures (and one is larger than the others) and a light up piece.
Image

The minifgures are so much cooler than Lego's minifigures. Great detail, articulation and such. Raph can even store his sais on his back like the regular full size TMNT toys.
Image

They scale well with Transformer toys and unlike Lego, look pretty realistic doing so.
Image

Tint Kraang is removable! And has a hole in him. Here Raph is making him look like Kraangdyfloss. ho ho...

Was my birthday yesterday. Treated myself to more of them TMNT Mega Bloks.

Bigger box than I expected
Image

The figures are awesome and I do like this garbage truck
Image

flip out missile net launcher and has lights and sounds.
Image

Classics Party Wagon I expected to arrive on Tuesday but arrived two days early. Today. A Sunday. Odd.
Image

Again amazing figures. Each of Mikey's orange bands are seperate pieces so you can cover up the joints when posed. The head bandanna too is seperate so you can take it off if you like. Nice accessories too. I hadn't found the pizza slice or April's turtlecom yet when taking this photo.
Image

A little bigger than the movie truck but took me about double the time to assemble (80 mins for movie truck, almost 3 hours for classic wagon)
Image

Rear opens up and you got computers in there and places for the two spare missiles opposite. Also Mikey's skateboard clips inside the door. Also note how Mikey can store his nunchucks on his back. Really cool for such a small figure. Also his shell is metal.
Image

Pressure activate missile launcher. Also the cab doors open. The roof can be removed in two sections for easier positioning of figures inside.
Image

Movie truck fits one figure in front. Wagon fits two.
Image

I seriously love these Mega Bloks sets (although these style of sets have been rebranded Mega Construx to seperate them from the toddler Mega Bloks as the company continues this much more detailed line for older kids and collectors). I was never a big fan of (the admittedly iconic) Lego mini-figs finding them too stiff and simplified but I liked building sets. This brand gives me the building sets that have mini-figures that are like actual proper action figures shrunken down and still compatible with Lego accessories for when you need stuffs. I see they got a few mini-figures coming based on Masters of the Universe, Star Trek TNG and Aliens coming soon. I hope they're successful and they keep on producing cool sets.

Check out his other videos as well. The best Lego reviewer IMO.

Its already a good price considering the 10 cents per brick ratio. If it goes on sale at either walmart or toysrus, count me in!

Terminator Spider-Tank arrived and is neat. :D
It's like ED-209 on four spider-legs rather than two chicken-legs.

Image

@Wilcosu That fishermen house is great. I don't like Lego mini-figures at all but the building looks really detailed with some nice character to it. :)

Never owned any Star Trek merchandise but I liked the look of this Mega Bloks set and it was cheap and it arrived today (Star Trek Day apparently) so that's neat.

Mirror Universe Kirk, Spock and beaming up Scotty

Transporter room in default layout
Image

Walls are on hinges so you can fold it out for an alternate display
Image

You also get two extra wall pieces if you want to replace the ones that have the 'evil dude' symbol with regular walls to make the nice universe Transport room. I've never seen the episode so I don't know what they're called. I should probably do that. :P

I still on a mega bloks/construx addiction. It's making me buy cool sets based on video games i don't play such as Halo and Call of Duty just cos they're cool military and sci fi things with awesome posable mini-figures in a scale that works nicely with Transformers.

Friend of mine helped me get that police hornet hoverthingy cos it was £9.99 on toys r us website click n collect but £29.99 in store and my nearest didn't have it so he did the clicky collect and sent me it. :)
Image

Yes my attempt at a RoboCop figure (halo body with iron man head) is messy due to shakey wrists but hopefully Mega will bring out an official one someday (not impossible since they already done Terminators, ok that was for Genisys... but they did a couple of Aliens figures recently so violent 80's film figures are definitely doable)

Love how modular the guns are for such a tiny size.

These Assassin's Creed Mega Bloks knights work great for The Last Knight human knights. :D

A pretty amazingly preiced haul

Image

The Ninjago set of over 1100 pieces was discounted to $64 CND (which is only $51 USD). It is discounted that way at only a few walmarts. The minifigs are part of the bricktober event at TRU and were free.

A really awesome dude on Twitter who, two years ago, sent me the NECA Superman Christopher Reeve 7" figure for free has sent me another totally unexpected package. This one containing two CDs and t-shirts of his band and three of the Mega Construx figures I've been wanting that aren't available in the UK as of yet (unless paying ridiculous monies to certain websites)

He-Man, Skeletor and TMNT Classics Baxter Stockman. All three are awesome and so very retro and Baxter has alternate pieces so you can have him human or fly. I love them. So damn grateful to this guy, Jason who has no reason at all to be so generous but has made me feel awesome today in a week where my depression and anxiety levels were not good. :)
Image
See, awesome. And I love posing Mega Construx figures with my Transformers cos they're more or less a really good fit scale-wise. Not perfect but that's about as small as you're gonna get human figures and still have great articulation and detail and being able to easily change pieces and such. Love it all. :D

Nice, Robo Force, those bots were cool with their suction cups and bendy straw arms. If I remember correctly I had their big vehicle thing. I used to love sticking those guys to everything and anything.

Arcadia's (formerly Yamato)SDF-1 DYRL version (no Prometheus or the Daedalus can opener part, just the two Armd space carriers/cruisers)

Anything less is still less cash out. Around 5% off the online price of Y39744 (would have been lower in stores like NY but needed to recharge the long suffering wallet 8-} )

Anyways, back in the 80s, couldn't afford the Bandai SDF-1 and missed several occasions when the "Frontier: version was sold. But now, just got myself this turducken of an SDF-1! :x

More or less as tall as Fortmax but with oodles of die-cast (btw, there are two versions, the Premium is said to have company applied decos and a glow in the dark feature and double the asking price)

My friend Jason in the US sent me ANOTHER pack of Mega Construx figures for my collection!

TMNT Collectors - Donatello and Rock Soldiers battle pack. Donnie was the only classic Turtle I was missing so now I got the whole team in both Classic and Out of the Shadows form. :)
Image

Aliens - Colonial Marine and Xenomorph (with facehuggers, one of which is molded to fit over neck and head of a poor human)
Image

Love these so much. :D
