Just look at the box art to some Kirby games....

Can you spy the differences between the American and Japanese one?

Interesting indeed... However, I can't imagine the reason for presenting a wannabe-badass Kirby on the western packages instead of the cute little piece of pink(?) we see on the original japanese packages. What do you suggest?

Hahaha, nice. So is Kirby just mad at the West or something?
One thing that caught my eye was the "A" rating on the first Japanese box-art, and for a split second I began to wonder if they got some, uh, extra content in the Eastern release
Hey, GEEWUN, hahaha, why don't you go ahead and share the slogan for the 3DS with everyone else?

Interesting, I wonder why they did that. Maybe to appeal to the boy audience with a "tough guy" while not totally losing the girl audience's "soft/cute puffball"?

While there are "badass" villains pictured (and many Kirby games have rather disturbing final bosses), I doubt that'd be enough to draw in the cute-hating boys. Things like PowerPuff Girls and Care Bears also have "badass" or even HORRIFYING villains, yet can't get away from the "girly" image.
