I take back what I said earlier, Carl is a perfectly well adjusted young boy when you compare him to Lizzie.

the most recent episode just reinforces that nothing good ever comes out of a cornfield!

there were some excellent tense moments with rick and the intruders though it makes me wonder what of their few personal belongings would have been left behind when he legged it (also wondering where the intruders came in because didn't he push the couch back up against the door after michonne and carl left?).

i enjoyed seeing michonne finally opening up a bit about her backstory and also glenn hauling off and punching abraham in the face.

i'm skeptical about mullet guy's science credentials though.

If mullet guy is anything like his comics counterpart, he is a very interesting character with a solid story arc.

Well, I think I can no longer say to people "There's no way in HELL they'd work that storyline from teh comics into the show".

I hope they keep Eugene around, he's one of my faves from the comics. Its the mullet.

My thoughts on the season finale and season 5...

Rick biting Joe was right out of the comic book.
The bones and parts on the ground were a nice touch..
My wife and I discussed it after the show and this is what we came up with.
This is our speculations for season 5
Beth is with Father Gabriel (the car she got in had a huge cross on the back)
Tyreese and Carol will meet up with Beth and father Gabriel
Perhaps some other characters can be introduced as well.
Father Gabriel has been spying on Terminus and knows what is going on there.
The one scene when Rick and the others enter the camp and the vantage point was behind the fence is going to be Gabriel watching them.
Gabriel will recognize Rick and Co by the descriptions Tyreese and Carol give of them
Bob and Tara will die
Tyreese, Carol, Beth and Gabriel will be the ones to save Rick and the others.

did you like the ending? it kind of felt a little anticlimactic to me, particularly after the first 15 minutes of the episode.

I enjoyed the episode, the ending was out of the comic minus the f bomb. Yeah I saw the pix of Mary too. My wife and I plan on watching the entire 2nd half again and paying attention for other foreshadowing that may have been missed.

I am preparing to watch the entire season 4 in 1 sitting. Starting in a few minutes.

It's always funny to see him as the Governor. I'll always think of him as the dude from Doctor Who.

Season 5 is 5 weeks away. I do hope they start getting ahead on the main story of why things are the way they are.
(I don't read the comics so I don't know anything other than what's been presented in the show.)

The companion series got a green light for the pilot. Can't have too much Walking Dead!!

I am so confused by the spinoff? I mean, it's all about money, obviously, just like the Breaking Bad spinoff, but I can't really figure what they'll do with a new group, or where.

It does free them from the comics fanboys who whine every time something happens that's different from the comics canon, but, I mean...I guess I am in 'wait and see' mode till I have a clue more about it.
