Seeing that picture, for some reason, had me picturing Chris Latta's screechy "Starscream" voice, humming the theme to Superman the Movie.

If you flip it on while he is in his beast mode, it actually fills in the gap by half:

The Galaxy Force version has that in the manual. The Cybertron one doesn´t?

G1 Wheeljack has a flight mode. It took me a while to realize it, but it's there.
Another thing about Wheeljack -now, this is kind of cheating since I figured it out the first time I transformed him- is that, while it can be a bit stiff, it is fully possible to slide his feet out all the way so that they lock the legs in place. Some of the reviews I've seen have failed to work this out and then bashed him for not having legs that lock.

Here is what needs to be done to your figure to make this happen:
1.Clicked of the wings from Energon Divebomb
2.Cut 2 sliding slots in the thick black plastic hinge behind Vector Prime head
3.Carved the brown'ish backside of Diverbomb to fit the KeySlot of Vector Prime
4.Clicked on the sort of Energon Divebomb's Tonfa's into Vector Primes hands
