Both are actually correct depending on your location.

Everyone knows Z is the coolest letter of the alphabet because it sits at the back.

People are intimidated to use it. You wouldn't just walk up to James Dean(or current applicable cool guy, whichever) and ask him to be in your movie. You don't ask Z to be in your words, it'll show up if it feels like it. And it's always at the exact right time. Z is that good.

Anyway, I posted this in the Combiner Wars thread but for those who haven't seen it you can actually use Rust Dust as a pistol/wrist blaster thing for Victorion. You partially transform Rust Dust from a motorcycle and use the arm pegs can plug into Vic's hands on both sides.

Lots of things with my first ever two TFs I got back in '06. I didn't think that Cybertron Prime's hip wheels would hinge outward for better leg poseability. His legs also slid outward for the robot mode, too. And the basic mode's tiny feet snap onto the super mode's feet.

Crumplezone had a waist swivel the entire time and his mouthplate moves.

There certainly used to be. It used to say Tansformers for a long time, but the staff eventually fixed it.

Cool thread.. funnily enough my duh moments relate to the same character 20 years apart. As a kid I had a friend over and whilst playing he unveiled weirdwolf's shoulder rocket launchers which were hidden by a slide cover. I think I tried to play it cool and said 'of course I knew about that'.

Time warp transition to a couple of days ago, I got wolf wire and ditched the instructions because besides being bad they are now hard to read + his transformation is quite simple. Besides checking to see if his should rockets hide, which they disappointingly don't, he seemed all ok. Only I didn't realise I had to swivel his feet around for a more robotic look to his feet, was leaving him with his wolf paws showing in the front. Oh well.

I find it fun that it's possible to make an approximation of the G1 toy's base modes out of Combiner Wars Hotspot and Onslaught (Onslaught does need a ramp guess though).

Are Tiny Pic images not working again ?

Tiny Pic :

Ultra Image :

Combiner Wars Hot Spot approximation of his original Base mode with the CW toy :

Combiner Wars Onslaught approximation of his original Base mode with the CW toy :

Do they show up ?

-------

Anyway the point is that the original G1 bases could connect to Trypticon or Metrotitan or Metroplex so I was thinking we Have Metroplex, Fort Max & Trypticon on the way - best try and see what can be done to replicate that original look.

Considering he was packaged mistransformed that way, it's a very understandable mistake, guy.

Just today I found out how to properly transform my human Alliance Roadbuster. Never realized his upper and lower thighs actually clipped together (duh), and I finally found out how to transform his chest for robot mode. . . I thought he was a terrible figure for the longest time, only to realize he's actually a great figure!

I am glad you discovered that and changed you opinion on him. I too think he is great except for how his doors dont close flush because of this protruding grey pieces in the front.

As for me, I feel super dumb for never realizing this but Sentinel Prime and Astrotrain have 3 parts to the landing gear that you can fold out. There is the small piece near at the bottom of the legs, everyone knows that. But there are also the 2 rectangles on the chest piece. I though they were just molded detail, but they actually fold out into landing gear.

Kurona in another thread wrote:<snip>... in the japanese Headmasters series, the Targetmasters had an alternate mode of connection where instead of being handheld, they attached to their partner's wrist much like Shockwave's gun hand.

The process was also replicated in Universe Cyclonus with Nightstick; Cyclonus' hand folding back to reveal a notch Nightstick could attach to.

I.... I.... I never noticed that. This is awesome, Kurona. I now have to display my Cyclonus that way!

Whoa, same here, I wondered about the tab but never pieced it together! Probably partially because I never watched Headmaster. Awesome!

What!!!!!!?
Dude!!
Exactly!
I ran out to my Transformer room, check for myself.... Awesome!!!!

Cyclonus is one of my all time favorite molds. I only own two Botcon figures, and Ferak is one of two.

Thank you Agamemnon for reposting it here, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it.

Thank you Kurona.

Dude, that makes an awesome figure even cooler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what makes Cyclonus even cooler?

If you have two, he can dual wield them like that.
