Mine was better because it actually "transformed" because of the doors. Here, it look like poor skids just ran over himself with a loonytunesque result.

If you "never" realised, then you still wouldn't know, nor would you know at any point in the future.

Also, most of this seems to be "Things your Transformers can do that you made up". If you "realized" them, then they're real, actual things they're supposed to and are designed to do, that you had not previously made happen.

And fan modes are something you can realise. Hey, I never realised CD Scattershot mould can be turned into a throne before now. Here is a pic of it.

It's things WE realized that YOU never did, so WE'RE telling you. at least that's the jist. It's really come to be "neat stuff you can do with TF toys that (probably) aren't in the instructions".

I can't find it, but didn;t someone say there is a way to hide that little gun piece behind TR Megatron's head? Can someone point me in the direction of that post? Thanks!

To be fair, I'm pretty sure my Cyclonus is missing those little tail booster/wing parts, but I still would've expected to have found out about this before now

What??? I never knew that about his tail. I knew his main rotor, but instead of coming off, it misaligned his cogs so it doesn't spin anymore when i pull the trigger.

The twin swords from the Megatronia/Victorion box can plug into the back of any CW helicopter via the slots that tab the tail of the chopper into place for vehicle mode, allowing them to carry the swords when they're not using them. Doesn't work in vehicle mode obviously, but it is neat.

Not sure how much it's a reveal, but I know quite no galleries/reviews/vdeos saw it/got it right (even Seibertron gallery), so :

I don't get it. What should I notice? Are you saying no one have transformed that limb correctly?

Even the gallery on seibertron.com has it mistransformed, you can check.

And to be honest : It's not in the instructions/manual. That's why I post it here, I think it's the perfect thread.

Quite baffling because when I transformed mine at the time, that obvious step was not missed. Maybe because I didn't have any instructions,

Yeah it is the perfect thread. But beause its not in the instructions I guess it means they are not transforming it incorrectly right?

But its not like no one does it that way, it didnt take long to find pics online of it transformed that way too

I feel really dumb for never realising this about G1 fort Max (granted I never read the instructions. He has an extra step to have a garage in fortress mode.

You see, I always transform him like this:



But just the other day I noticed a hinge (that i am sure everyone has seen for 30 years now)



and I realize the whole block unfolded to create a garage



Also, I just noticed Fort Max has dies cast, this fully painted blue piece:

Ok, here's one from the same era, later line: Cybertron.

I've had Cybertron Jetfire for years (love that toy to bits), and I just found out that the red engine pieces on the elbows are on a slider.

Did you know that the FoC Blast Off has a foot in leg mode?
Basically there's enough space to move out the forearms. It makes the leg a lot more stable.

I guess people don't always fold the back of the hand cover in on Energon Optimus as it then matches the helicopter. perhaps if they were using the sub or the drill for the other arm then they'd have done so.

I'm pleased I read this thread as I didn't know Cyclonus could hold his tail - it's odd as I can recall trying to get it to work back in the day and it not holding on so I guess I didn't think to flip it 90 degrees like a bow. Never crossed my mind to try again when I got the Micron Legend one much more recently either.

I managed to disassemble mine and shuffle the gears around so they keep spinning when the trigger is pulled (they can be pumped with the trigger ) and free spin and don't stop when they are spinning and the trigger is held - the only down side is they no longer work upside down. it works a bit better with the minicons too the mechanism struggles a bit with the nose cone and the chin mechanism having to be powered as well as the rotors.

I wish they'd put a mid arm swivel and some better storage spot for him minicon though as it looks a little silly on his chest and a bit unbalanced on his arm. I often end up sticking it on his leg.

Cyclonus is a clever toy though. In a way I guess you could consider the Powerlinx Green one to be Waspinator if the yellow one is Buzzsaw.

I was browsing around e-bay the other night and found not one but two separate auctions detailing this "mode" for G1 Six Shot:





Titans Return Six Shot can do the same(the guns can be wing mounted, but I like nose guns):



I think it looks like some kind of space train.

That's actually really cool! My Sixshot will need to give it a whirl
