I'm new to this and I just created a few Transformers yesterday. I was hoping to get some tips and pointers to help me get used to this game and excel. So far, all I've been doing are missions. I've bought a weapon for each of my Transformers. What do I do now?

Well, welcome to the game first off.

A few tips and pointers can be found in the wikis, however the build of your cons is up to you. A few things that may help you get on your way are based around tactics and Alt forms.

At lower level its best to stick to one tactic (at least till level 3). This is my personal experience and from playing around. Your millage may very though.

Think about how you want to build your characters out. If you chose say a light vehicle mode with a tactic of Avoid, putting a ton of points into Intelligence or Strength will not help as much as putting points into Speed or Courage.

Tactics are dependent upon certain specs:
Avoid: Speed
Ram: Strength
Strafe: Firepower
Repair: Courage / Int / ?? (I haven't played with this much as I am not that high into the game. Ask Burn, Psychout, Named_Violation, or one of the players that have been around longer than me to get a better idea of the triggers).

This is not to say that tactics are solely dependent upon these stats however. Other Specs such as speed, courage, endurance, skill, etc have a basic symbiosis with your primary specs.

My tips:
1.Make friends(you will go farther with friends.)
2.Sit and wait(if you try to go head on with a autobot in level 0 his friends will come and help him,so wait until there is 1 autobot and three cons in a mission.
3.I sent you 10,000 energon and if you want more PM me.

4.If these dont work dont look at me.
5.have fun(dont get argry at people)

And if you need help I have 6 level zeros that are willing and ready to you.

Welcome aboard.

Some pretty good tips there.

One I can offer is time. Just play. I've been playing since 05. Like Anshin said, Psychout and Burn have been here longer, but there are people have been here longer that don't play as often and have lower leveled teams.

If you need energon we Decepticons tend to accumulated it rather fast. Just ask.

As soon as I hit my 15 marks on my 3 little ones I will rank them to two and start to look for you in battles. In the meanwhile I tip my hat to you good sir.

Wow. Thanks a lot, everyone, I greatly appreciate this. I've just been randomly doing missions. I've yet joined any Arena. I'll definitely follow a lot of these tips. If I get more questions, I'll be sure to ask.

Real quick, for Alts...

When I looked at my Transformers profile, his says:

Class: StarFighter
Desc: StarFighter

But when I had taken a look at someone elses, theirs stated:

Class: Monstrous Land Animal
Desc: Two-Headed Creature

Is mine correct? How come his doesn't say:

Class: Monstrous Land Animal
Desc: Monstrous Land Animal

Or does that come with leveling up, etc? Or do I need to reset my Transformer?

Don’t worry I get about ten to fifteen thousand energon a day if I play all day.

that is one of the alts that is the same so dont worry.I is just like tanks,there is a Class:tank Desc:tank but there is different tanks like anti-aircraft tanks and hover tankes.So it does not have to do with level it is just like that.

Or to be a tad more specific, Class refers to the way that alt-mode is classified for the purpose of what abilities it can have and the cost for upgrading them.

Desc simply refers to what it looks like.

In the case for your example it looks like a starfighter and is classed with other "starfighters" thus the duplication. There are a lot of alts that fall under the same details, nothing to worry about.

Looks like the guys have given you some pretty sound advice there, just get stuck in.

Level 0 is the hardest one to beat as its all so random and feels like a grind, but after you get those 4 upgrades and get to level 1 and 2 you start seeing a difference in the how the game works and once you get to that point it really becomes worthwhile.

Tactics-wise: The best suggestion I've been given is to concentrate on either speed and avoid or strength and ram until you get to the end of level 1/start of level 2, but if you have the xp spare and fancy going for an extra point in something at any time go for courage before you start building up the second tactic.
Also, stay out of the arena, it sucks.

As for motivation - look for a commander about your level that seems equally as active and concentrate on beating the living hell out of him as much as possible. Its better of he also posts here as you get a nice bit of banter going like Botomb and Anshin, and Burn and EverybodythatisntBurn. Its always good to see a bit of friendly rivalry here, so feel free to brag about your epic wins, shout about your senseless losses and join in wherever you want.

Lastly, don't take the game too seriously, the staff here certainly dont...

I'll happily accept any donations as well. I don't climb out of the RPG cave too often, but this is proving to be a neat little feature. We'll see what my batch o' 'Cons turns in to as time goes on.
