He's about Legion size IIRC so maybe you could fit a bunch inside him and have them deploy from his tail and torso as a horde of minions like some kind of videogame boss/homage to Godzilla's various mini-mes.

The comments in your second attachment suggest that the 'different' right tower is also on a Hasbro Trypticon, though... curiouser and curiouser.
I can confirm that my Hasbro Trypticon has the 'boring'-type towers, i.e. the ones pictured by Reprolabels, on both sides. Maybe some kind of crazy running change (which would, in turn, probably mean that most/all of the Takara ones have the newer towers too)? I guess we'll need more reports from everyone on this, too. I swear, with the amount of case-studies and data collation we're doing on Trypticon he's turning into a damn science project
Stuartmaximus wrote:It was the hip ratchet problems, the spring was waaay too tight & wrecking some internal part in the process when moving the legs, other issues were the door/ramp(where the TM's come out after Trypticon eats them) was ever so slightly warped so didn't close at one side properly, the hinged tail didn't stay closed firmly and properly & lastly the stickers are crap...too flimsy ect

Lol, hadn't heard of the sticker issue. So is it pretty much guaranteed that I need to do Qwan's mod if I want it to survive?
Stuartmaximus wrote:Aye, there is a fanfix where you can loosen the spring(ie so it's not as tight) without having to cut the spring ect

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Cobotron wrote:Alright, so it looks like I have the second run Hasbro version, but I still did the hip spring compression fix because they felt like they needed it.
And, just so I'm getting this straight, Repro designed there stickers for the first run with symmetrically mirrored towers?
