Hi Everyone,

I've just been down to my local Myers in Ballarat Victoria (AUS) and found the new TLK Dragonstorm and Hound legion figures on sale for $9.95 aud. In addition to this, TLK Leader Class Optimus Prime and Megatron were both on sale. However, as many of you would know by now, the leader class figures have been in Australia for a few weeks now.

I've taken a few photos of the new toys. I also couldn't help but bring Dragonstorm home with me (well back to the office anyway!) He's well made and the transformation process is quite simple. The tail pulls out to become his sword and does well visually to double as part of the dragon mode and as a weapon. overall I think he's quite unique and a fun little guy to have. The wings are double jointed and made from hard plastic giving him that good level of durability you'd want from a toy his size. the joints are also quite stiff making him able to hold a pose without issue.

My main issue with him is how the middle head just flips back to reveal the robot head. This looks good in robot mode but reduces the tidiness and posing options for dragon mode. When in robot mode, Dragonstorm does stack up quite nicely compared to other Legion figures but the two legs hanging out from his back take away from the overall illusion of been a robot rather than a misformed dragon. I would like to see a Dragonstorm in a larger model as I think he'll be a lot of fun.

Overall I'm giving him an 8/10.
