Good ole Filefront

I must say though that using the keyboard for it is challenging. If you have a gamepad it makes things soooo much easier.

No problem. I finished my speed run as well. No deaths and made it all the way past the 3rd Foot confrontation. Best I've ever been able to do. I'll upload it in another post soon.

Good quality speed run for you folks. Farthest I've been able to get with no deaths.

Just enter the code, wait for the time to count down and then click the button to download. It's zipped so you'll have to unzip it.

Unfortunately very true. The keyboard does make it super painful to play, however it's enough to know that the game is very, very good and worth buying when it's released.

I actually ended up buying a USB to PS2 controller adapter from RadioShack. Cost $10 and was the best money I ever spent on an electronic.

Oh also. I have the speed run up on youtube for folks who don't want to enjoy it in wonderful clear quality.

I seriously can't stop playing this demo. It's addicting trying to do better to see how much farther I can get. Really makes me wish I had a 360 and some money to buy the final game.

Good news if you own a 360. They're releasing the original arcade game (which became turtles 2 on the NES) onto Live Arcade here in a month or so.

Damn, that's pretty rad. Turtles 2 and Tournament Fighters are the only Turtles game for NES that I'm missing.

I beat Turtles 2 and 3 but could not beat the first game because I always got stuck on a jump in the sewer :(

2 and 3 weren't too bad, especially with a second player. 1 was incredibly hard.

When I was younger my sister and I would play both 2 and 3 for hours.

Oh god, I know what your talking about! Stupid timing has to be so precise. Have you seen the Angry Nintendo Nerds review on it? It's priceless.

BTW, is that TMNT Arcade game the Arcade quality or the NES quality?

It's wonderful arcade quality.

Wasn't the arcade game included on one of the more recent Turtle Game releases?

Dunno. Those were the only ones I couldn't bring myself to play because they were so bad. Almost as bad as the very original one released on NES and arcade. What I do know is the guy playing in the link above is horrible. If you die in the first stage you either have no motor skills or have no idea what the concept of avoidance is.

I couldn't bring myself to buy them either after seeing screen caps and game footage. Then I read the reviews. I am so looking forward to this new game now.

Don't go too fast. The games only about 5 hours long....Though that still makes it around 6 times longer than Turtles in Time.

Sadly it looks like I am going to have to shelve for awhile since I start work again Monday :( Spring Break is ending for me.

Sorry that was actually my fault. I had put up a new one and removed the old one as it sucked. Check the first link again.

The camera is bad and the button layout sucks on 360. Otherwise, I agree, great game.
