I would buy a mp-big convoy the elephant mammoth one or a beast wars t-rex Megatron or that beast wars dragon Megatron. I DO NOT WANT A MP CONCEPT VEHICLE OR ANYTHING CYBERTRON LOOKING. Oh, I wouldn't mind a Optimus primal. Just make the beastformers as lifelike as possible with maybe a splash of color.
Sadly the MP line isn't being made soley for you
Guess you may end up with a few dissapointments
Masterpiece is about characters, not strictly alt modes. Sure, I like how the current line of cars are actually being licensed so as to be accurate, but it's ridiculous to suggest major TF characters can't get a masterpiece because they don't have 'real' alt modes. If you haven't already try the Binaltech/ Alternators line. Y'know, the line that made Grimlock a car.
No, no non realistic masterpieces transformers is allowed. All us collectors like me have is the movieverse line and the masterpiece line.
In theory, I'm with Eagleblaster.
The Masterpiece line was conceived as G1 TFs with modern engineering, superb vehicular/alt mode accuracy, and faithfulness to the cartoon robot mode. It's the triple threat.
Seeing the possibility of non-G1 Masterpieces is somewhat of a shock, and a disappointment. I really wish they would work to assemble, at the very least, the original 1984 lineup before they move on to other MP concepts. We see how quickly the new MPs have been selling. There's clearly momentous demand for all this. Plus, you know we'll be seeing 3rd Party competition - QuakeWave is just the beginning.
I fear that if they don't keep this line focused, they may stretch it to thin, lose our interest, and then not complete anything of significance.
Feel free to disagree, but I feel like: Ugh.
