Toy Fair 2016 - Comicave Studios Transformers Collectable Figures #HasbroToyFair #TFNY

Also on display at Toy Fair were a couple new collectible figures from Comicave Studios. These are 1/22 scale, highly poseable and feature Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. The price on these guys have yet to be determined and there is no release info at this time. Stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all your Transformers news.

These aren't statues, they're highly poseable diecast figures, similarly to their Iron Man figures.

Why? Prime and Bee had really good versions of these designs as figures. Particularly the japanese Armor Knight Prime. Sure these get to pack in more accuracy for being large, expensive, non-transforming figures but Hasbro and Takara did really well with the toy versions too (I customised my Deluxe Bee to add some extra paintwork and such where I felt it was needed but that's expected with toys)

Way out of my league, but for a 50% diecast, fully painted & articulated 15 inch figure, $400 is "man, I thought it'd cost way more" cheap.

Omni Class 1/22 Scale Age of Extinction Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime is getting ready to roll out in end August, and begins to ship estimated in September.

We are in the midst of finalizing Prime’s packaging, and you should expect similar structural design to our iconic Omni Class series — Tri-fold packaging box.

The 1/22 Scale Optimus Prime is a 50% die-cast metal, fully articulated figurine with interchangeable accessories, and LED light features in the eyes. At over 15 inches in height, the figure itself weighs close to 3.5 pounds (1.6 kg). Extendable joints at key points of the figure enable extensive posability and playability.

Featured in Transformers: Age of Extinction, Optimus Prime is from the planet Cybertron, and is the leader of the Autobots in the film.

We've received news via a toy blog of a slew of in-hand images for Comicave Studio's Optimus Prime figure! The figure is 1/22 scale, very film-accurate in sculpt and paintwork, and features a 50% die-cast metal construction, LED-lighted eyes, as well as various accessories and swappable hands.
