Wow, maybe. Screamer's alright but Skywarp's face makes him look so much more G1. Funny how little it takes to go from good to pretty dang excellent. But still, these guys are pricy. If I don't do both Skywarp is seriously pushing to be favored.

I can't believe how much better this looks than the Starscream version. This makes me actually want the figure now.

I plan to get this guy and Starscream tomorrow and have a review and/or video up, ASAP. If anyone has anything they particularly want to see, please let me know.

A clear comparison of both heads if possible? Maybe a side by side kinda thing. Just to see em next to each other. That'd be cool. Thanks!

These mold designs have one of my biggest pet peeves - fake transformations. It's clear that the car's hood is supposed to be the robot's chest, but it's also clear that this is not actually the case. This isn't as bad as 2007TF's Jazz, with a grill and headlights on his alt mode roof, but since the Alternity line isn't trying to mimic a cartoon, comic, or movie aesthetic, I don't see the need for the "fakery". Makes me miss Alternators even more.

Damn...back to questioning which one I want! And probably only have the weekend to decide. I think Starscream's color scheme is better overall, but Sky's head does look much better.

The purple is thankfully darker than the original pics suggested. With the new head sculpt and dark colors, this guy does indeed look a lot better than Starscream. I may pick this guy up eventually, but unfortunately I'm pretty broke right now, and these things are too expensive.

Looks way better than Starscream's bugface

I was hoping not to jump into Alternity line, to expensive, but I think I will buy only this Skywarp

Wow! SOOOOOO much better than Starscream in the face! I knew my decision to get Skywarp over Starscream was a good one!

Could anybody get a comparison done between Starscream and Skywarp's heads? I still say it's the same sculpt, just painted differently.

The heads have a similar overall shape, but are different.

I agree. I've never liked the fake look alike parts for aesthetics in robot mode.

Tell that to Alternator Tracks.

Man, Starscream's head really sucks! Why couldn't they just make Skywarp in traditional colors with black being the primary to make this an easy decision?

*edit: The decision has been made for me...BBTS just filled mu order. So they're officially in and shipping.

Looks awesome. Hmm, I wonder if they have any plans down the road to take this version and make Thundercracker?

Somehow, looking at his head, it reminds me of that Legend of Zelda character, Ganondorf. Dunno why, but I like this one a small bit better than the Starscream version.

Skywarp is leaps and bounds better than Starscream in terms of presentation, the head, and the paint job.

But the steering wheel and wing cheat still ruin it for me.

Just not at all what I expected out of these.

These are die cast, are they not? That too would ruin it for me.

I can't speak to these ones yet, but the previous ones have had die-cast in them, but it's been inside, as in the frame, as opposed to the outside car shell parts like Binaltech figures had.
