I found this and thought I'd show it to you all, I don't know how truthfull it is though.
"Hoping to see the next Transformers film offer a new take on the live-action version of everybody’s favorite Hasbro toys? That’s not going to happen. Even if director Michael Bay and star Shia LaBeouf are done with the series, Transformers 4 is coming and it’s going to continue down its current path of success.
Producer Don Murphy (Splice, Shoot ‘Em Up), who has served as producer on all three Transformers films to date, assures fans that the franchise isn’t getting a reboot and that it’s more likely to start up a second trilogy, following the same style we’re now accustomed to."I found this little tid-bit
here.
Just thought you might check out my forum board, it's nothing fancy like here but it could be a cool second spot to hang out.

Six movies? If so... That seems... A lot.
Love thy pretenders.

F.F.S - So this is actually happening then? All my prayers for naught!
If we accept the statement at face value, assuming it's not hot air, and that there really will be another three of these abominations; Would the plan be to continue churning them out until they're no longer profitable/selling toys?
What a nightmare.

Me too. I've always liked the two trilogies formula, like they did with Star Wars.

Alien Resurrection always felt more like the start of a new trilogy than the end to the Alien saga. Too bad we got AvP instead.
Also, this news is at least a few days old.
I do not blame Michael Bay for crapping all over a huge part of my childhood. He just directed the scripts that were given to him. I blame Orci, Kurtzman, and Krueger, who seem completely incapable of concocting a story that even halfway makes sense.RiddlerJ wrote:Each one will come with an autographed picture of Michael Bay sitting on top of a huge pile of money.
