Good. The original part was barely holding in place with tiny, tiny tabs made out of brittle transparent plastics. That thing broke on me once (got a replacement unit) and the other times, it keep popping off.

Looks like it may be possible to get him into the regulate Tarn robot mode.

Someone over at TFW2005 finagled Bludgeon into this mode, so yeah, while he does have the extra thick calves now, it may still be possible to get him into a flatter tank mode.

Bluestreak, my guy is looking good, but I don't like that mold and don't really want a 3 pack myself.

I'm very happy that Thunderwing will be a commander. The character is quite big and as a commander, he WILL be complete, including his.... inner self.

They had a fan vote yes, but no Thunderwing did not come out on top. In the 2017 Fan Vote for Power of the Primes leader class figures, they had several characters as options for a possible figure in the line. Thunderwing came in dead last with only 4.4% of the total votes.

The Winner was Optimus Primal, which is why we got Optimal Optimus and the Throne of the Primes in that toy line.

I guess Evan and Mark have had that itch since then and have finally been allowed to scratch it. :DANCE:

Maybe. Not sure a half tank Thunderwing would have gone over well, but it’s still odd it was not done at any point, They even teased us with the stand alone Titan Master in the Siege on Cybertron boxset,

Commander Class figures have not yet been retooled, so who knows. If we do get a Black Shadow it will likely be from Takara not Hasbro and end up in their New Legends line.

I remember that whole controversy where PvP was accused of reviewing "stolen figures" from the factory (especially with that one user who made it his vendetta) but here, it can only be that. >:oP

Not long ago we got a pretty extensive list of leaks that included an upcoming Walmart exclusive capsule refered to as Dark Energon. It was a short list that included Optimus Prime and Megatron as well as new names Cybertronic and Cybertread. Without any officially acknowledgment or reveal of any kind the two new guys have just appeared in a Facebook post from Singaporean seller Robo Robo (which has since been altered to remove them from the image).

Turns out Hasbro is going back into the well and bringing up repaints from the War for Cybertron line giving us repaints of Siege Sixgun and Kingdom Slammer respectively. But that's not the only molds they've dredged from that well, they're also bringing back the Siege Optimus Prime and Megatron as discovered on the back of the box by members over at TFW2005. All four figures feature the same vector style art over clear purple or blue plastic, for Decepticons and Autobots respectively, that we saw back during Kingdom with Selects Behold, Galvatron. Incidentally, this is the first time the Slammer mold has been reused.

What any of this has to do with dark energon is anyone's guess, we'll just have to wait and see if the Hasbro team expands on this at some point. More as we learn about it, but in the meantime share your thoughts in the Seibertron Energon Pub forums.
