Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

It's a bit disappointing that it's just a small deluxe, but I still kinda like it.

By that logic, IDW and Shout! Factory are both also Hasbro for their each being officially licensed as well.bvzxa wrote:Sabrblade wrote:This isn't Hasbro. This is Fun Pub.
FunPub is Hasbro...officially licensed. It's still wack.

I saw a mockup of a set of 6 Gobots themed Minicons making the rounds on Twitter yesterday, but there was no context to it, or at least I had no time to look into it. I have to say, something like that would be awesome.

Yeah, the only reason I could think of the Club wanting to put the two together is if there's some kind of story reason behind it.Mindmaster wrote:Plus, I feel like it's too early for them to shell out Nova Prime right after revealing Lio Convoy. Maybe they should've waited a year?

Yeah, looking those over, there's little chance the Club would do something like that, as they prefer to do more substantial figures like Deluxes and Up. And don't really do multi-packs outside of BotCon.ScottyP wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Got a link to this?ScottyP wrote:Sabrblade wrote:One that people are suspecting to be some kind of cross-brand figure like a TF/G.I. Did some digging and these are indeed fan made digibashes. Too bad!

Sabrblade wrote:I think the best in-story rationalization I can come up with for this toy being so non-intimidating and weak-looking is that, in the Uprising universe (IF that is where he resides, that is), the Autobots have become so old, tired, and weak to continue fighting the war themselves, and have taken a backseat to let their Maximal successors continue the war for them. This kind of body for Nova is acceptable if all he does nowadays is just spend his time sitting on a throne issuing orders and commands to his subjects and minions. He's supposed to be in no good condition to go into battle, and this body certainly fits that description.
Though, Lio Convoy could possibly get away with being fit for battle in such a body since he'd be younger and more energy-efficient, likely a later model of the body with more advanced tech to help him perform better, whereas Nova would be using an older model that'd would have seen better days.

I'm thinking the latter's a good possibility, given Nova's IDW roots.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Edited my previous post.
And another great yet cliched plot point bites the dust...
So Nova isn't from Beast Wars Uprising, the Wings Universe is still semi-open if the Subscription figures are any indication. Plus, we still have the IDW offshoot with Chromedome with Stylor, Rewind and Treadshot with Catgut.
