The Triceratops' name is Slug.
mmhmm, and it is a stupid name change. I'm Scottish and I don't mind him being called Slag. I can see a problem getting it localised in the uk without it though. I'll call him Slag no matter what they call him.

Voyager sized 3rd-party versions would cost about $100 each. Maybe that's OK for you, but a lot of us can't afford that. I'd rather have Hasbro Deluxes for $12/each.
Depends on where you shop. If you only shop at BigBadToyStore then yes it would cost that much. I shop at Robotkingdom and they are a lot cheaper. I got the Herc components shipped for less than BBTS were offering before shipping. However, I do take the point that they would be more expensive. I would pay for them though.
Watch the first of my youtube series, Friends Transform.

Grimlock would be tricky, though, as his body literally morphs in shape during his in-game transformation.

Except he's (Grimlock is) the one we have basically been confirmed to be getting a toy.
Not saying it won't happen. just that it'll be tricky.
Though, could one remind me of when the confirmation of his toy was given (seriously, I can't remember)?

I wouldn't tempt fate. We have not even seen a prototype. We've had toys manufactured and packaged, that never got to our stores... So..uhm. Yeah, I wouldn't go counting any eggs.
I know it's been said before, but how is it that the Dinobots even exist on Cybertron in their dinosaur altmodes? Dinosaurs are an Earth species, so if FOC takes places millions of years ago, it wouldn't make sense for them to be anything but Cybertronian animals.

The game's story is set about 65 million years ago. Shockwave has captured five members of the Lightning Strike Coalition for him to experiment on. He uses ancient Space Bridge technology to look at an alien planet (Earth) and sees several powerful looking lifeforms (dinosaurs) on its surface. Inspired, Shockwave uses the designs of these creatures to rebuild his five captives into forms resembling these alien beings, so that Shockwave may then have five uber powerful minions to command. So thus, he creates the Dinobots, hence Grimlock being referred to as a "Space T-Rex".

Now that you mention it, some of the backgrounds in these images do seem like they link together to form one image.

Not too sure if i'm feelin the red back plates. I know that if they were to be made into an actual figure i would rather see those plates be a translucent gold/champagne (yes, i said champagne) colour. Much like the plastic on Energon Scorponok. Of course gold chrome would be preferable but that's never gonna happen and it's not the colour scheme the designers chose. fair enough.

even if we get all of them as toys Hasbro doesn't care about scale we would be lucky to get anything that goes all the way back to the early days were you had a city sized transformer the same size as galvatron or ultra magnus

I can't get over how much I love Snarl. Both modes look fantastic, and this is the first one I can figure out the transformation between both modes because they actually have similarities unlike some of the others. (Snarl mostly).
I absolutely love these designs, so much so that I'd actually include them in my Classics collection, and that's no small feat to achieve. I just know that even if Hasbro produce all five Dinobots they won't be in a size I'd be satisfied with.
I like how Sludge looks significantly bigger than the rest of the squad. I'm ashamed to say that I'm rather looking forward to this game now.
OMG!! If there is anyone left at Hasbro marketing and design departments with half a brain, they better be planning to give us all 5 of these as toys. I would hope too that they make them in Voyager size, but if they at least make them in deluxe, I will buy all 5. Twice!!
