At the very least, I could see Fun Pub doing something to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Beast Wars in 2016, like finally giving us a Beast Wars: Uprising themed BotCon, but I get the feeling that Hasbro might be hesitant to do another whole year of beast-themed toys so soon after having already done so much beast stuff in 2013 and 2014, especially since a lot of it was met with a very mixed reception.
Though, Takara's Transformers: Legends line, while being yet another counterpart of Hasbro's Generations line (with more toys geared towards G1), is currently already being treated like a commemoration of Beast Wars with its packaging being heavily based on the 1996-1999 Japanese Beast Wars packaging, its first figure being a redeco of the Beast Wars Reborn remold of the Ultra Optimus Primal toy, and its pack-in manga being a chibi-style office comedy starring the Beast Wars characters.
So in a way, Japan is, right now, giving the fandom something special in a lovingly Beast Wars flavor.
