"Slowly"? Which Generations toyline have you been buying? Deluxe Megatron, deluxe Orion Pax, deluxe Bumblebee, deluxe Armada Starscream, every other toy that came with a comic book, everything from Combiner Wars...
For two full years, and with the exception of the AOE stuff, Generations has been IDW this and IDWS that (which, as someone who has no interest in the comic books, is both confusing and boring), to the extent it might as well be called Transformers: IDW in Plastic.

I would even add that a lot of idw character models are also based on toys that have preceded the generations line. Universe Sunstreaker has retroactively become IDW Sunstreaker.

Until Sunstreaker comes out in the middle to latter part of the year from the Breakdown mold. Making Universe Sunstreaker obsolete.

Only to be a redeco of either the Universe mold, or a Stunticon limb. ;)

For the forseeable future, Combiner Wars is dominating the 2015 line of Generations, while RID is releasing its own show-based toys.

If we did get non-combining toys outside of Leader and Legends, they'd most likely be exclusives, and be in generic packaging, effectively putting them in the 2014 line like the Legions and Protectobot sets.

And we don't know any details about Prowl, Ironhide, Sunstreaker and Mirage. That includes molds used and exclusivity.

They were found listed in Walmart's inventory. Walmart rarely gets exclusives for non movie toy lines. I cannot remember one from he Generations toy line at all. I wager they are normal releases.

We still don't know what molds they'll use. And aside from the Asian and US TRU Exclusive GDO series, there was only one "Generations"-branded exclusive: the Ultimate Gift Set with Combat Hero Optimus Prime ;)

No, Ironhide, Mirage, Prowl, and Sunstreaker have all been cited in store listings.

They are combiner limbs for Ultra Prime, so they are still part of Combiner Wars.

Isn't there speculation that they will be combiner limbs for OP?

I just realized, they could just re-use the Stunticon molds for the remaining Autobots in order to give OP his own combiner mode:
Mirage - Dragstrip
Sunstreaker - Breakdown
Ironhide - Offroad
Prowl - Dead End

No official confirmation but an insider confirmed it with Chuck. He wrote about it earlier in this thread. And it makes perfect sense too. But technically, Leader Megatron and Thundercracker are generetions figures that are not made to combine with others and are coming out this year (and maybe leader Magnus too). So I would count those as 2015 generations figures that are not necessarily involved with combiner wars (aside from a card heading).

That was not a Walmart exclusive, nor was it an exclusive at all. You could get that set at Walmart and Amazon that I remember. Probably other places as well.

The GDO stuff was an Asian market release. No different than buying a Senator Ratbat from the Japanese market. Apples to oranges, my friend. It became a TRU exclusive to us Americans, but to any Asian person living in china it was nothing more than a normal release.

I am not saying for certain that it won't be a Walmart exclusive as the TMNT line did that with Bebop and Rocksteady, but I think it is highly unlikely. Hasbro loves to double dip molds and I think these will be no exception.

I could see them being combiner limbs for Prime, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that will be the case. Of course, they would serve that function regardless because of the molds, but as far as I'm concerned, at least in Ironhide and Sunstreakers case, it is a superior mold to what we have from Universe. Of course, these are not created to be homages like that like was, but could serve either purpose depending on your collection. Besides Prowl being the head for devastator, there is nothing from fiction to suggest that these four will be "combiners", but that doesn't mean Hasbro will not market them as such. Half of the Legends class figures are not technically combiner figures, nor is any of the leader class figures. The "theme" is nothing more than a marketing label. It appears the deluxe line is going to be combiners only, but this is just speculation as we have not seen anything for the second half of this year.

The way things are going at Hasbro, I expect the eventual devastator to have a penis for a head, rather than Prowl. First Bumblebee has occult symbols as weapons in the AOE line, and now they are pushing Play doh toys that look like genitals. What is up with that?

Jetfire was somewhat dissapointing when you find out how simple the figure is. But I will tell you this: that figure has style! It looks so good being displayed and you can get amazing poses out of him. He really stands out in my colelction to the point where people ask me if he is a Transformer or from another toyline, which is a great compliment to a TF toy that was representing exactly such a toy.

My biggest beef with Megatron right now actually is how he doesnt end up with a rod on the right side of his back.

Maybe someone can help me here but is the current IDW megatron the same megatron we saw in All Hail Megatron? And the current IDW MEgatron turns into a tank right? Did the All Hail Megatron turn into a tank too? Becasue I read it and dont recall him transforming once. And does the current Megatron still have an arm cannon? Because if not, then I would rather this toy had a peg on his back where you could insert the cannon so that he could look like his IDW counterpart.

Wait a sec, are you saying that Universe Sunstreaker was a bad mold? How? And if they use any of the combiner limbs I do not see how we could be getting a decent sunstreaker. His main design element is that he wears the roof of his carmode in his front. The combiner peg would work against that, resulting in an inferior looking version of the character.

By now I think most know how excited I've been about the Autobot limb idea. Hell, I have been speculating about it since NYCC broke news.
Generally I like to try to stay as positive as I can. Sometimes to a fault. But, Does anyone think it's kind of a sad state of affairs that 20 new toys are made up of 10 molds total? I will snatch up those Autobots no matter what their form, but things have really taken a dive. I am holding out hope that Firstaid and Ironhide will at least share a new mold. I'm just a little sad that this has become the status quo.

On a positive note - In regards to leader Megs. It's important to remember that photographers are good at taking photographs. Not necessarily transforming robots. Unless you're Cyberpath, of course.

Holy crap, I forgot about the Leader Magnus rumour! I really do hope it happens, and that he isn't just a Prime retool. That guy seriously deserves his own mould (other than MP) and Leader scale is perfect for him. If the rumour is true it would surely be a new mould. I can't think of any other Leader figure they would retool, and I doubt they'd just do an upscaled Prime/Motormaster mould. That mould is designed for combining and the Leader figure just wouldn't be part of that, much like Leader Megs and Thundercracker look to be seperate from the combining gimmick.

I had had this thought. What if UM was CW voyager Prime with a trailer that breaks apart into legs, arms, etc, and utilizes the combiner ports to become UM?
I hope I'm wrong. That would be 4 uses of the voyager mold.
UM deserves his own mold.

Or a Leader Megs retool?

Actually, I heard they are using the Jetfire/Thundercracker mold for UM.

Leader Megs (G1 deco) looks pretty neat. Legs are a big small compared to the rest of the body, but I can live with that. Armada version? Major pass on that one. But I haven't seen any images of this figure in ALT mode. Are there any? I need to know what that looks like to make a real decision.

I also add the disclaimer that I know Hasbro photoshops the living h#(( out of these images to make them look neater/shinier/better painted than they really are once you see them in store....

Maybe they do, but I thought they did a good job at selling Jetfire. He looked as good as in the pictures.

And as for the Megs alt mode:
