It really pains me after all my years of asking for voyager classed figures in the Generations line for Ironhide, Ratchet and the Seekers (because they really all were small especially the seekers) we're getting LEADER classed Starscream and Thundercracker and most likely more deluxes for Ironhide and Ratchet. And not only that, but they're going to be shoehorned with combiner capabilities...Y'know, the combiners aren't as unique and special when you begin to turn characters who are well known into them simply for one line. I'm sure you guys might enjoy it, but It really bothers me.

Honestly, I must have been the only guy who's happy with Classics/Henkei Ironhide

Combiner Wars isn't going to last forever folks. Just because some characters are being shoehorned here and there, doesn't mean it's the last time we'll see them in plastic. Keep hope alive, they'll be back in proper form some day. Hell, they're due for the MP treatment too

(And OBVIOUSLY what I say is law and no one else is allowed to have an opinion but ME. Or so I was told.)

I'd like to address this. People (even me, I ranted recently) have a tendency to get defensive when the negativity starts flowing. Because it can get a person down. But what can separate one complaint from another, is an explanation. What you posted, I greatly appreciate. you didn't just tell us that you're not into these figures, you explained why. And things like that can open up some great discussion.

Thanks mate. The problem is even on other sites, when I try to put some form of insight into something that I like or dislike, people almost always think that I'm not allowed to have an opinion. Just because we all may not agree on something doesn't necessarily mean someone is "wrong" or "right".

As for my previous, I mainly mad that we never got a TF Prime voyager figure for Ironhide after that awesome concept art surfaced. Instead we got the deluxe we know now. I figured that with the Generations line, Hasbro "could" make an updated Ironhide figure in the voyager class, and maybe add in some black with the red and the two guns on the arms. Would've cool. But I'm sure others will enjoy whatever version of him we get that might come in the Combiner Wars line. My main gripe with the line is that it feels very restrictive. Sure the main focus is combiners. but is possible we can have non combining figures in the line too, ala the Megatrons, Bombshell, and the upcoming Ultra Magnus and Thundercracker? Best of both worlds is Hasbro planned it carefully.

I was kind of *lightly* part of the fandom during Prime, so I'm actually not sure to what you're referring to.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Deluxe's and Voyagers of this line will be dominated by the combining gimmick. But I'm not so upset about missing out on general Generations releases since we at least still have Legend and Leader class figures doin there own thang

Anyway, I too miss Ultra Class figures. That very rare medium between voyager and leader was odd but still nice to have around.

N really. Wasn't a fan of it all that much and it was out of my price range. The only arms micron figure I wanted was Breakdown but I never got him due to high prices.

N really. Wasn't a fan of it all that much and it was out of my price range. The only arms micron figure I wanted was Breakdown but I never got him due to high prices.

I didn't like how he looked, so I didn't get him.

Y'know what really pisses me off with this toyline! is the fact that America & maybe other countries too....have now got Ultra Magnus out in their TRU's stores! as well as Wave 2 & 3 figures! including Cyclonus ect! & what does the UK still currently have? WAVE BLOODY ONE! I mean c'mon!!! The UK was the first country(as far as I am aware....& apart from maybe some online retailers) to get WAVE 1 in(in Toys R Us I mean) then suddenly.....After that... everything has taken a backwards step! & we're now the LAST country to get those other WAVES in(granted we're now more recently enjoying the Leader Class Megatrons) but still! If things had continued the way WAVE 1 had come out as SOON.....in the UK....We would ALSO be enjoying Ultra Magnus from Toys R Us as well, but... as far as i'm lead to believe....Wave 2 is to come out in the UK some time next month...& according to Smyths Toys....some of Wave 3.....which includes Hot Spot & Cyclonus are out in July! but we'll wait n see! although I take it by the time that either Wave 2 or indeed 3 fully arrives in stores in the UK.......other countries will be enjoying Devastator by then! & the UK probably won't see the Constructicons til nearer late December(if you haven't decided to order it online, or maybe get him sooner at Comicon or toyfairs).

Now I know the faster way to acquire those Waves....is to order them online......& especially in the UK.....that's the chosen route for most! but there's still quite a few of us out there....that prefer having to go into a store(Toys R Us, Smyths Toys, The Entertainer, A1 Toys ect) & buy them off the shelves, there's just something to be said about that experience, in getting the figure(s) you want & taking them home the same day! instead of having to wait til it comes through the post.

Thank you! This works wonders on mine. I transformed him to robot mode, he's alright, but he's better suited (in my mind) to be a way to mount Groove in his G1 configuration. That, coupled with this "weapon mode" setup, he doesn't have to see robot mode again and I can pretend there's nothing more to him than that and that makes me happy.
