Now that you mention it, maybe that's why I had him mistransformed in some of the pictures (most notably any of the beast mode comparison pics with other Seacons and his G1 version ... I re-shot the pics of him in beast mode by himself after realizing I had him mistransformed). His instructions show him with his legs assembled the same way as ours, though I feel like the legs should be positioned the other way as well. However, the single point sticking forward is more like how his G1 toy was, which is how the Generations Selects version is assembled.

I think people are waiting for to do it justice as he need's 2 parts for the torso, I'd imagine that a proper liokaiser and dinoking would follow once they establish such a system
I'm guessing the reviewer I watched had his transformed wrong, but you are correct. After looking at the Seibertron photos I looked at my figured and noticed this stamp which I doubt Takara would leave on top of the figure. My bad lol I have no frame of reference for these characters and the backwards chicken legs threw me off big time.Hellscream9999 wrote:aronjlove wrote:I'm horrible with the instructions so I always find a review and follow along. They're facing the right way, that's why they painted those bits silver on the feet, it certainly looks disconcerting I grant you, I think it's to help him be closer to the ground

Yes, I'd really like to see them figure out how to do a Combiner with two deluxes for the torso. I'd even go back for a Devastator that was in scale with the rest of the Combiners, or moreso than his Titan Class figure.

You're not wrong about it looking off, like I said, I found - and still do find - the design dsconcerting, but I think that was kind of a motif they were going for if tentacoolkil's beast mode face is anything to go by
A strong enough connection between the two could be achieved by bringing back the old rectangular Powerlinx port from Energon.Skritz wrote:I think it would be possible to make two slightly bigger deluxes combine into a single Voyager-sized torso with the appropriate CW ports. The question is would it be stable enough?

What does that have to do with what I said?Skritz wrote:Sabrblade wrote:A strong enough connection between the two could be achieved by bringing back the old rectangular Powerlinx port from Energon.Skritz wrote:I think it would be possible to make two slightly bigger deluxes combine into a single Voyager-sized torso with the appropriate CW ports. Well, the CW port would be for the limbs, not the two torso parts obviously. That would probably require multiple connection points to be strong enough. At least more than a single 'com-boner', which is the technical/crass term for a CW connector.

What do you mean "mere weeks after"? There is no way on God's green Earth that this thing is coming anytime before 2021 at the earliest.Hellscream9999 wrote:At this point I'm almost upset that they expect us to just double dip onthis mold mere weeks after completing king posiedon;
