Setting aside that endless Whatever-the-color-he-is-Streak debate, I was finally able to score myself a Galactic Man from Amazon.COM, with SS leader Grindor. I'm using this year's free one month trial of Prime membership and because of that, both figures were WAY cheaper! Even with the tax deposit and shipping to Canada, both leaders came in at less than 69$CAN each! When the normal leader price is between 70$CAN and 80$CAN plus around 15% taxes, that was a steal!

Soon enough, Galactic Man will accompany my vintage Astro Magnum and my SS DOTM Soundwave will finally be "complete".
Come see my latest creation, a Galvatron Combiner using 4 SS86 Sweeps as limbs HERE!

Also, an update to my old ALL HELICOPER VICTORION!

Yes, those shoulders are attached correctly

Correct (rectangular peg hole facing forward):
Screenshot_20210810-194030_YouTube.jpg

Incorrect (circular metal pin facing forward):
Screenshot_20210810-194128_Chrome.jpg

That's innacurate. The wrong assembly also has the rectangular holes.

That's innacurate. The wrong assembly also has the rectangular holes.

Maximum detail explanation:
The inner shoulder joint has two sides; a squared off greebled side and a smooth circular side. When the shoulder is properly oriented, the circular side is up and the greebled side is the armpit. In this orientation, the correct assembly has the rectangular slots forward, and the incorrect has the visible pin.

I was referring to what we see when we get the toy, how to properly spot it. In the box, both will have the rectangular slots forward.

They didn't do one for TR Perceptor, when Ga'mede being his Titan Master would have been very obvious to do.

I don't think "what they were before they were transformers" deco's were really viable prior to selects but since WFC we've had Galactic Man, and several Diaclone Decos. I'd even be up for a for a Siege Omega "Mecha Bot-1" if if it weren't so obscenely expensive. Pretty sure it's easier to get away with niche characters on smaller figures. I bet Hasbro/TT are regretting Galactic Man a little bit as it doesn't seem to have sold well.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Pretty sure anyone thinking of Magnificus were expecting e-HOBBY to do him since he's their character.

Honestly considering the fact that that one is still available, and occassionally on sale, I'm astounded that HasTak still decided to start doing Diaclone repaints and Leader repaints

Fans could always repurpose Galactic Man as Flash Beam.

Hmmm...I thought this came out a while ago? I guess because it was revealed a while before Transmutate, and that was supposed to ship last month, but got delayed until Sept 1. I hope it doesn't get delayed again.

Also, not sure if it is a bad thing or not, but there are far fewer Selects this year, as compared to 2020. I know a bunch of them were revealed late in the year though, maybe Hasbro is planning something similar?

Transmutate was actually revealed before Ramjet, as Transmutate was revealed late February whereas Ramjet was early March, which is why on one hand I at least find this whole release schedule movement going on here a bit odd, but on the other hand, I feel like something similar happened with Rotorstorm and Tigertrack last year (they were revealed at the same time and yet Rotorstorm came out earlier). The reason it feels like they already came out is because in certain parts of the world, depending on where you ordered them from, they did actually come out months ago, that's how we've had things like in-hand pics from TFW and such.

I'm also really hoping there's more Selects coming as well, the characters they've been choosing for these releases have tended to interest me a lot more than a good number of their mainline release counterparts.

Makes sense. Also I guess I was confused because Ramjets number is GS24, and Transmutate is GS25. Not that numbers are necessarily that important, other than perhaps the concept/design of G2 Ramjet was being worked on first, or simply just assigned first.

After Transmutate (supposedly September) there is just:

GS26 Artfire (November) & GS27 Galvatron (also November)

There is Also Black Zarak, (no number designation as of yet) which has the dubious date of 1/1/22. I am prepared either way. But...If it is delayed, so be it. But I can see, with a price tag of $170, a lot of Bonuses for Hasbro high ups if they can get the funds before end of year, of course it could put a damper on a lot of fans end-of-year plans as well....
