Just collected a $50 selects deluxe. As awesome as sandstorm is a year after pre ordering it still stings.

Deluxe? You mean Voyager right? Sandstorm was the Seeker mold

Also can we not discuss the origins of the toys used in these reviews? This thread is for talking about the toys themselves. It is not to be derailed by the reviewer.

TBH, I kind of like this version a bit more than the regular release? Maybe because I have Mania King and this guy scratches a different itch. Maybe it's because I ordered the regular one through the mail and it was the wrong shoulders version.
Of course I have some nitpicks with the deco. Purple forearms, no red on the belt. Those don't move the needle on this guy very much. I do, however, wish he had the sandcastle head. Or that as an option, at least. Mainly because it's such an unusual look for him.
Now bring on Delta Magnus and Prototype colors Arcee!
If they do Beast Wars Sandstorm from Kingdom Scorponok, he'd be a Deluxe.-Kanrabat- wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:blackeyedprime wrote:It might be better to have a stolen toys sighting thread for these reviews

Sandstorm IS the Seeker mold. Also, all Sandstorms were big bots that are voyagers. Appart the G1 original that can be considered a deluxe.
As far that I know, that is.
ZeroWolf wrote:I'm surprised we haven't had Delta Magnus yet but then again , with the rumours that we're getting Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus, I wonder if their shared deco is a reason.
Glad you're enjoying this version of Galvatron though!

...having seen what's being said on TFW, you've listed 6 figures compared to their 5, and 2 of the ones you listed don't match any of the hints given on TFW, so I don't know what to think about this.Evil Eye wrote:The TFW Sekrit Leaks Klub is letting out cryptic hints over new reveals. Sandstorm (from BW Scorponok), Buzzsaw (from Waspinator), Lift Ticket, Guard (diaclone) and DK3 (diaclone), also toy colours Cyclonus.

I also don't know who Guard is though, so if anyone has any insights to offer on that I'd greatly appreciate it, as the Wiki isn't helping for once.
I knew they were Diaclones and I'd heard that DK3 was blue Trailbreaker, I'd just never heard Guard before. Another black Ironhide right after the Netflix one, though? I'll be honest, while that does sound like something HasTak would do, that only furthers my skepticism.Evil Eye wrote:Guard and DK3 are Diaclone references. I think Guard is just a black Ironhide.

The BotCon one uses the red variant, so that's more likely to be used. Should they do the blue one, it'll get a new name.
Could be the Earthrise mold instead of Siege.Nemesis Primal wrote:I knew they were Diaclones and I'd heard that DK3 was blue Trailbreaker, I'd just never heard Guard before. Plus, people often forget that Diaclone Black Ironhide/SG Ironhide's secondary color is red.
